America's Fatal Weakness
Canadian Press ^ | December 11, 2006 | JB Williams

Terrorists abroad have spent decades preparing for war against the west, studying American culture, identifying all of the cracks in the mortar, all of the weak links in our chain of command and the soft spots in our defenses that make the worlds last remaining super-power a vulnerable target for any terrorists willing to die for the cause.

In retrospect, America's weaknesses were more obvious to others than most Americans thought.

Forced conversion to Christanity is a antithetical proposition. You'll have to come up with a different plan. One that makes sense.

I fear you are right, but the real issue for me is the conundrum produced by the ideals that we love so much being directly opposed to doing what is necessary to preserve them.

We will either be whittled away or become as sickeningly brutal as our enemies. Either way, what remains will be a United States of America in name only; not the "last great hope of freedom" (in words of Ronald Reagan).

Oh..........and I'd like to see your Scripture references, deep theologian that you are, for using Christianity as a political tool to beat down an enemy, without regard for the human soul.

Where exactly in Scripture does it say that we should use forced Christianity merely as a 'substitute religion' to Islam? (That IS what was proposed).

Please cite all references. As one who is deeply interested in theology, and who has walked with Christ for 50 years, and is in no way 'squishy' I'm very curious as to your support of this very anti-Christlike plan....

I have come to believe that it will take a Democrat president to win this war. The Republicans will continue to pussyfoot until Iran vaporizes Tel Aviv(I no longer expect Israel to effectively defend itself). Domestic Security may well continue to keep the US unhit until the mohos finally attain something truly large or the US becomes totally alone and effectively walled off from the rest of the world which would lead to permanent depression and eventual social and political collapse. When a Democrat is in office after 08 with her Democrat Congress, the Domestic Security apparatus will be enhanced and turned against Christians and conservatives and gunowners and will pretty much be blinded the threat from Islam as Democrats are near totally blind to foreign affairs and believe that the paynim, because they hate America, are allies and truly appreciate the wonderfulness and the natural right and destiny to operate government of the Liberals and Democrats. The result will be several mega 9-11s. After the 3rd or 4th the Democrat will finally realize that the mohos really mean it. The Democrat will panic and rise up in terrible indignation at the stab-in-the-back by the folks she thought were friends and will launch against all sorts of targets, not necessarily all rationally chosen. The Islamic threat will be over but so will be the American economy and China will inherit the earth.

It will never happen.

Forced Christianity will, indeed, eliminate the threat of Islam for, at least, a very long time. In the second generation it will begin to seriously "take." The defeated moors will not, in the main, teach their religion to their children. They will retain it but will not be enthusiastic. Yes some secret groups will remain and willfaintly trouble the world for millennia, dort of like Rosicrucians. The Marranos of Spain and, derivatively New Mexico, still retain memories and customs of their Jewish ancestors, some even call themselves Jews, but the Religion is gone, only the customs remain.

Did you miss the part where 3,000 Americans were murdered by Muslims and the liberals said it was America's fault?

Very few of them said that and those that did say it said it weeks later. If you don't remember (but I do), the first few days after 9/11 almost EVERY American was ready to nuke the Middle East. As time went by the libs lost their patriotic fervor and returned to their former selves - but those first few days were different.

A greater hatred of Christianity cannot be created. Only Satan himself has that. You seem to think of Mohammedans as essentially just like your next door neighbors, perhaps a little odd, but essentially rational. No. they are Mohammedans. I know something about that fatalism and how it works. You cannot simply beat the people down. You have to replace the operating system and reboot.

Her understanding of Christianity is not at issue here. Her understanding of History and Islam is.

A short exercise in fatuosity or a lack of acquaintance with Mohammedan history

Neither. Do you really want the USA to become a country just like the terrorists we are fighting against? Killing indiscriminately anyone that is believed to be against the USA? Whether they are citizens of the USA or not?

There are measures which can be taken that do not bring us to that despotic existence.

It is probably going to happen because we are probably going to have a Democrat president and congress after 08.

Whether they are citizens of the USA or not?

Where did that come from? or did you just think it would sound nice?

Good article. The change required to win will never happen with the sniveling liberals in power. Liberals would rather see the country fall than do what is necessary to survive.

And the muzzies took note. I doubt Al Qaeda will try another large-scale attack (although the UK airplane plan was just such a one). Why risk enraging the American beast with a spectacular act, when the attrition war is going so well and Americans are turning on each other?

Do citizens of the United States have different rights and privileges than folks who are NOT citizens of the United States while they are within the borders of the USA?

"This is what I have been saying here for years, and so has everyone who has any notion of the history of Islam. The Saracens must suffer a level of destruction so great that they are convinced that Allah does not will that Islam shall prevail in this generation."

Good point. WE are at war with Islamic fascism, not the tactic of terrorism.

Our freedom, our humanity, and our justice.

They are also our greatest strengths.

We are winning the WOT. Iraqis and Afghanis want to live in freedom. They don't want terrorists or strong men. Those who spout such BS that they are all terrorists or they need, nay deserve, a strong men are all the same. They've never been there and in their arrogance and bigotry, they presume to know better than the people who toiled, suffered, and died so that they could forever remove themselves from the yoke of tyranny in all it's forms.

For all these "pundits" protestations of righteousness and intelligence, they advocate solutions that were it uttered by anyone else would rightly condemn them to shame and embarassment as the world see them as the undemocratic and draconian elitists they really are. They speak of freedom and prosperity yet would deny it to those who long yearned for it. They preach mercy and justice yet advocate actions strikingly similar to those we have constantly condemned as evil and Godless.

The only way we could lose the WOT is if we cave in to the defeatists among us. Those who have no faith in their fellow man. Those who lied day and night about what is happening in the fields of conflict. Those who believe they are better than anyone else. Those who are so conceited as to question others with vastly more information and intelligence from the battlegrounds of the WOT.

But even losing the WOT will not be the worse fate. Will America be subjugated under Islamofascism? Of course not. Our "masters" still want to rule. In fact, death at the hands of Islamofascists may pale in comparison to the communist state many of those preaching defeat envision for us.

Only those in lock-step with the rangerettes' shallow Christian views are true believers, doncha' know. What you suggest is far to uncomfortable for those raised within the modern squishy doctrine of theology espoused by pretenders in the nondenominational realm.

This was the attack on txrangerette's post to which I was responding.

This was the erroneous assessment about her theology based on the fact that she thought that using Christianity as a political tool was not supported by Scripture.

She was correct in that understanding.

And it has no bearing on her very solid understanding of history and Islam.

Many of us who believe that militant Islam must be eradicated and understand full well the problem, do not want Christianity misused to achieve that end.
