There are currently plans to hold a FReeper get-together at the Chowder Pot in Branford on December 21st at 6:00 pm.
I guess i will take on the task of organizing this, despite my lack of experience. Should we try to do a dinner, or just meet up for drinks, etc., at the bar?
There has also been some discussion of another get-together closer to hartford in the future, but it appears three are more interested in meeting in the New Haven area.
Suggestions appreciated by those who would attend!

Hope I didn't miss anyone, and y'all get pinged by Nutmeg later if I did!

Maybe whoever organizes the next one does it on a friday, which would be better for me if I'm going to Hartford.

or a saturday. however I do not expect them to alter thier plans at this late stage simply for me. that would be totally unreasonable AND disrespectful of all the effort these fine folks have spent thus far.
it is good that the CT folks are finally getting together tho...

Yes, Mojo114 had a good suggestion on the CT board.

"or a Saturday. however I do not expect them to alter their plans at this late stage simply for me. that would be totally unreasonable AND disrespectful of all the effort these fine folks have spent thus far." Ditto, aside from being held on a Thursday (I have to be up early for work) my wife has me booked solid with the Holiday's.
I would love to get together with all the Freepers in Connecticut, hopefully the next time won't be near Christmas. ;-D

Cool.
I'm in the area. I usually go to the NY meeting, but may not be able to this year.

Great! I look forward to meeting everyone. In nearly 4 years as a freeper, I have only met one other, and that was all the way up in Providence!
To: camle
well, if you're including North Eastern CT - I'm up in stafford. Take 32N, don't stop...:)

"I'm up in stafford." I have many relatives in Stafford as does the wife.
None that I'll actually admit to though.

I grew up at Stafford speedway. I spent every friday night there as a kid from 1974 until I joined the Coast Guard. The Shaft theme still gets me all excited.
To: #1CTYankee
hahah - what do you call 32 Stafford-ites lined up side by side?
a full set of teeth!
