Thats right! This is not a joke! Just submit a 250 word essay on how the Ladies' Home Journal or Better Homes and Gardens helped you make a positive change in your life, such as home remodeling, contacting a long lost friend, etc. and you might win a meet and greet at a four-star LA restaurant with none other than Rick Warren!
Essays will be judged on "substance of entry (40%), originality (30%) and clarity of entry (30%)."
Brought to you by Chrysler and Better Homes and Gardens.

Rick Warren Inc. is the leader of the Purpose Driven Life movement.
As of late he has sucked up to the leaders of Syria, had pro-abortionist Obama speak at his church where he promoted condoms to control the spread of AIDS and many other zany antics!
Just search Warren on FR and you can get up to speed very quickly.

Well, I am looking to get very rich at others' expense. Maybe a conversation with Warren would be the right place to start...

So was I!
Most recently I was recently slammed for critiquing Joel Osteen.
Interestingly though, many FReepers are rushing to join the Your Best Purpose Driven Life Now ping list. It seems that many folks on FR are tired of the antics of celeb preachers.

I have had a positive event in my life, provided by none other than Mr. Warren himself! I am once again warned that there is never a shortage of snake oil salesmen types that I should always beware of. But then where this fellow is concerned, there seems to be an A$$ for every seat. Wonder what there serving for dinner at the restaurant? (sarc)

I thought this might be some type of spoof thread, But alas! It's for real.
Can't say I like where all of this is heading.
