According to www.drudge.com, American targets will be attacked upon his hanging. Time to be vigilant. Thanks to our Federal government, the enemy is within and of course already here.

Meditate on this... Proverbs 11:10 "When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, there is shouting." Yes, in one sense of the word, there is shouting when evil is brought down. I guess what I am saying is that God weeps over a soul that has hardened his heart towards His Salvation. I do not believe that God is laughing and enjoying a party spirit at a hanging of a lost soul.

The longer they linger, the more likely the UN and EU and WC and ACLU and IRC and AI and CAIR will all be issuing their obligatory whines.
Well the whinos are at it already. This is from the CBS article: "A top Vatican official condemned the death sentence against Saddam in a newspaper interview published Thursday, acknowledging the crimes of the ousted Iraqi leader but reiterating that capital punishment goes against the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church. Human Rights Watch, an international watchdog group, says Saddam was certainly a human rights violator, but Iraq's government shouldn't execute him. "The true test of respect for human rights comes when the human rights of someone who has violated in unspeakable ways the human rights of many millions of people comes into play," said the group's Richard Dicker. "

For the record, on the Arab calender, that will be the beginninh of the Hajj in Mecca.
I would guess the hanging will occur before or after those holy days.
Saturday 12/30/06..... my date in the pool.

According to www.drudge.com, American targets will be attacked upon his hanging. Time to be vigilant. Yeah, we're sitting over here wondering exactly how "interesting" it's gonna get, in the days following his execution. For us civilians, things can get a little weird. There are no "front lines" and no "rear" so, you never know when, where, or how something will happen.
I think whatever's gonna happen, will happen here, not back in the States. But, you can't be sure.
Personally, I hope they do it soon. It should put an end to his followers holding on to any hope that he will somehow escape his fate and regain power. Also, I've got a three week R&R coming up, and I don't want this s@#* screwing up my travel plans. 8-)

I read your post with much sadness. I am sure there are masses of Iraqis who would like to see Saddam shot ... with a small caliber pistol, one bullet at a time, starting with his extremities, in order to make him suffer a small amount of the terror and bloodletting he inflicted on his own people. The only balm for this is knowing he is going to spend eternity -- eternity -- suffering for what he did, in proportion to what he did (unless he repents before the one true God before he dies).

So Butcher,
Did you hear the thunder, did you feel the earth shake, did you get your "Mother of all Wars", did you lose all of your treasure, did you feel good when you lost your sons, did you lose all of your power and...... did you Feel the Wrath of the Red, White and Blue?
Now, Butcher, feel the fear of death, feel the anguish of complete helplessness, feel your legs want to fold as you take your final walk, feel your heart beating rapidly and your own body waste running down your leg, feel the rope, taste your own vomit as it tries to escape your worthless body, feel the moment when your soul leaves and goes to hell for all of eternity.
Oh, one more thing Butcher, President Bush says, 'hey'.
For the Whackjob leaders in Iran...pay very close attention. Know that when we come, you wont see us, but if you get lucky, you will hear our thunder.......... and then, the Mighty Troops of the USA will introduce you to God.
***** Sorry, I had a moment...now lets just get on with killing him and then go eat something fattening.

Friday is my date in the pool.
However, I've just read that the office of the Iraqi president have asked for clarification whether the president's signature is needed. An official in the Justice ministry said that the president needs to sign if the execution is to be carried out immediately. So I guess we just have to wait for the bureaucrats to sort it out!
