They could raise a huge amount of money if they would sell commemorative strands from the rope. That would be quite a souveneir.

Too bad we can't keep him standing on the gallows until we get the word that Fidel Castro has shuffled off this mortal coil. Then the executioner pulls the stick, and we get a "twofer."

Sure did, Martha. If they both go simultaneously, there will be some world-wide celebrations. Of course, there'll probably be some very negative reaction, too, from their many fans around the world.

Well those Lions of Judah seem to have the right formula for dealing with those low lifes in Somalia.

The US military had better handcuff that son-of-a-butcher to a Marine MP to prevent any kind of last minute bait 'n switch.
Wouldn't THAT be a kick in the teeth.
Anyway, Saddam's execution should have taken place two years ago.
By waiting this long, all the Iraqi's did was give the Bathist die-hard stragglers and hangers-on more time to drum up hatred for the Americans.
With Saddam DEAD, these insurgents just might get the idea that they REALLY REALLY aint gonna regain power again through some Saddam-engineered miracle.
Seriously, many of these Islamo-thugs grew up knowing nothing but Saddam is Great. Saddam is Allah's best friend.
Saddam is invincible.
No wonder they wouldn't give up. It's a religious experience for them to fight for Saddam, and as long as he's alive, they will believe Allah is watching over them and keeping them safe.

From what I've read, the Ethiopian Air Force alone could sort those bad guys out. I don't think that the Somalis have any warplanes at all. About 25 years ago, I was working in Djibouti, and the place was awash with Somali refugees. That whole Horn of Africa is pretty close to being at the end of the world.

Great cartoon. Hopefully, it won't be long. I am a little bit surprised that the U.N. is not screaming about this.
