"He asked North Carolina's attorney general to name a special prosecutor."

And the first thing that special prosecutor should do is dismiss the charges.

And, the second thing the special prosecutor should do is commence charges against Nifong for violating the defendants' civil rights and obstruction of justice.

At least AP doesn't copy/paste the following jewel from today's New York Times article on Nifong:

__________________________________________________________

''At a court hearing on Dec. 15, a DNA laboratory director admitted that he and Mr. Nifong had deliberately withheld exculpatory information from a report. Mr. Nifong prided himself on integrity, having been a conscientious objector during the Vietnam War, yet the laboratory director’s testimony and his acknowledgment of the error undercut his reputation. ''

Well, well, well.

This is the first we have heard of this, isn't it? Old Mikey was a dope smoking hippie who was too good to wear the uniform of his nation. I should have known.

I would love for the AP to elaborate on what the word "integrity" is doing in the same sentence as the vile term "conscientious objector."

So Dingdong has long been a weasel. And what would that have to do with "integrity" anyway?

This is the first time I've seen Nifong's Viet Nam status mentioned, but hey, I think it's the first time I've seen "conscientious objector" referenced as a DA's resume enhancer. But maybe nothing from The NYT should surprise us.

I knew the quote would jump out at you, and others as well.

A special prosecutor is needed to investiage NiFong's substantial misconduct from the beginning of this case.

Oh Yeah ,she has the look allright.

I cant imagine what these kids were thinking about when they hired her. Did they actually see her first? Geez.
She has the sex appeal of a pit bull.
Well: Somebody got fired up all over her she was sprayed with enough DNA to fill a freezer at the sperm bank.
None of it belonging to the male victims of Nifong.

I agree that being a conscientious objector has nothing to do with integrity,in fact probably just the opposite as this guy has no objection to destroying anyones life to get elected.

Is draft dodger a new definition for conscientious objector?

Did NiFong go to prison rather than submit to the draft? Did NiFong hide in Canada?

The underlying theory of Newspeak is that if something can't be said, then it can't be thought.
