INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -A comeback, a drive, a legacy. And yes - finally - Peyton Manning gets his Super Bowl trip, too.

Football's most prolific quarterback put on a show for the ages Sunday, rallying the Indianapolis Colts from 18 points down and driving them 80 yards for the winning score in a wildly entertaining 38-34 victory over the New England Patriots.

Almost as soon as the Colts secured the championship for the AFC, we heard sportscasters bringing RACE into the game...frankly, I had never thought about the RACE of the head coaches!

Rather, I thought about the hard work Tony Dungy had put into getting to this point in his career, after being let go by Tampa Bay, etc.

And when I thought about Lovie Smith, I never thought "Gee, that black guy is going to the Super Bowl...how great." No, I thought about how awesome it was that this defensive genius dealt with a so-so quarterback problem (Rex Grossman) and led his team to the biggest game of the year.

But apparently See B.S. and the LameStream Media think the color of the men's skin is the important factor.

How ridiculous.

I am just happy to see the pats lose after their poor sportsmanship at San Deigo.

Politics aside, Chicago is a favorite city of mine to visit (summer time of course).

I think the Colts would have made it last year if it hadn't been for Dungy's son offing himself. I couldn't imagine even being able to show up for the rest of the games after that. And, of course, he built the Tampa Bay team that Chuckie won with.

If they keep pushing this African business the sponsors paying two million dollars for a 10 second spot can rest assured that I won't see a single one of their spots because my TV will be off on that particular Sunday.

The team with the most affirmative action deserves to win.

Of course they'd bring race into it. If you're surprised, then you really don't know the NFL.

That said, GO COLTS!!!!!!!

my mother told me that as soon as the game was over my dad said now they'll be talking about two black coaches going to the super bowl...man did he call that right! frankly, who gives a rat's a55....i was rooting my guts out for the saints but both winners played like champions and with class...of course, i'm a huge manning fan (even if Payton did play for TN) so I'll be rooting for the Colts....

Agreed.

These coaches are happy to about going to the Super Bowl. Not about being black and going to the Super Bowl.

Good news for Manning and Dungy who are both class acts and a credit to football. Nice that Peyton has also finally overcome the Patriot playoff curse. Also a relief that we won't have to see Bellichick's miserable mug on our screens in 2 weeks time.
