URGENT: Jane Fonda to Protest Iraq War at Navy Memorial Sat. (Help D.C. Chapter Counter-Protest!)
Wednesday, January 24, 2007 | Kristinn

Posted on 01/24/2007 12:45:39 PM PST by kristinn

THIS IS AN URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT:

The D.C. Chapter of Free Republic is canceling our planned gathering at Upper Senate Park scheduled for 10 a.m. this Saturday, January 27, and will instead focus our efforts on the appearance at the Navy Memorial that morning by Jane Fonda for a so-called antiwar rally there.

We will gather at 9 a.m. and stay through Fonda's scheduled appearance at 10 a.m.

Please bring American and service flags, signs bearing messages of support for our troops, as well as signs denouncing Fonda and her band of traitors.

The following is the announcement by the sponsor of Saturday's larger 'antiwar' rally on the Mall about the Navy Memorial event:

10am: Women Say Pull Out! Women's Convergence for DC Mobilization

Join Jane Fonda, Susan Sarandon, Congresswomen Maxine Waters and Lynn Woolsey, Rhea Perlman, Eve Ensler, Mimi Kennedy, Q'orianka Kilcher, the Co-founders of CODEPINK and many other amazing women. Other co-sponsors include: National Organization for Women, V-Day, WAND, Feminist Majority, Feminist Peace Network and WATER. Don't forget your PINK!

Where: Navy Memorial, 7th and Pennsylvania NW
When: Saturday, January 27, 2007 at 10am We will rally at 10am then meet up with the UFPJ rally and march!

The enemies of this nation are feeling so emboldened that they are confident enough to bring Jane Fonda to a MEMORIAL for the United States Navy. During the Vietnam war Fonda traveled to North Vietnam and posed with our enemy on an anti-aircraft battery used to shoot down our Navy pilots.

Please join us in protecting the honor and memory of the sailors and pilots of the U.S. Navy from Jane Fonda and those who support the enemy in this war.

As always, the D.C. Chapter's rules for protesting will be in effect. Briefly, they are: No violence, no profanity, no racism, no provocations, obey the law and treat all law enforcement officers with respect.

We will be downtown all day as we also plan to counter-protest the 'antiwar' march after their rally on the Mall

Dress warm, it's going to be cold but dry.

Metro stations close to the Navy Memorial include Archives/Navy Memorial on the Green and Yellow lines, Gallery Place on the Red, Green and Yellow lines and Federal Triangle on the Orange and Blue lines. Street parking and garage parking is available.

Behold: Ho's Ho

I was privileged to help in prepublication work for this excellent treason indictment.

Given the historic use of such statutes and the documented work by Ho's ho on behalf of the nation's enemy, a treason indictment could have been pursued--had Nixon and his advisors not been intimidated by the liberal media and its predictable outcry to such a bold action.

This current activity makes "Barbarella" look dignified by comparason.

She said they lied about the torture.

Could she endure what John McCain and Stockdale and Bud Day did for those years, for even a minute?

She fed the enemy who did all that and murdered the tens of thousands, ultimately the millions.

I've never wanted to go to a FReep so badly in my life!

I was just a child when this traitor and John Kerry and their ilk did their bloody work originally, but I remember the controversy on the evening news (in fact, Jane is how I learned the word: "Mommy, what does 'treason' mean?", LOL) and have NEVER understood why they weren't held accountable. I consider the failure to prosecute and punish their outright, unambiguous treason one of the biggest blunders of modern history -- this country is STILL suffering the consequences today. The radical left's warped revisionist history of Vietnam is THE source of most of the lunacy that poisons our national will to do what we need to do in Iraq and elsewhere.

The RIVERS of blood that flowed from literally MILLIONS of innocents due to Jane Fonda and her collaborators' actions decades ago were apparently not enough for her, she wants to make us repeat the whole fiasco in another part of the world! And THIS time around, she can't even hide behind the excuse of being a young, naive idealist inexperienced in the ways of the world and in way over her head. Despite her numerous "apologies" over the years, she has learned absolutely nothing.

Her very participation in today's war protests proves that her previous treasonous activity was NO youthful miscalculation. Today she is (theoretically, at least) a mature adult, older and wiser, and the only conclusion an observer can draw is that she was not troubled enough by the slaughter of millions -- slaughtered as a direct result of this country following the very policy she promoted! -- to re-evaluate her belief system. No, she STILL believes this lethal garbage, just as passionately as she believed it then. If she ever did examine her conscience, it appears she felt the outcome was acceptable.

No one who didn't believe in it could continue to advocate "pull out" as a path to "peace" after having seen the results: mountainous piles of human skulls, warehouses crammed with the bleached bones of millions of human beings who WERE alive to watch Jane Fonda and her comrades persuade our politicians to abandon them to the killing fields. Those photos of the rows and rows of anonymous skulls -- their empty eye sockets bearing witness to the results of Jane's military and geopolitical acumen -- should sear any normal civilized person's conscience.

But today Hanoi Jane returns to give our nation advice on how to conduct a war... and it's the SAME advice! The left needs yet more oceans of blood to keep their hatred of America afloat. Fear not, the new and improved Baghdad Jane will help them navigate the deep red waters... after all, she's done it before.

These people are sociopaths. They are encouraging the enemy to fight on, endangering our troops, and possibly even Western Civilization itself -- and THEY DON'T CARE. They are drenched in blood from the Vietnam War, and they call themselves heroes for it -- it would be laughably delusional if it weren't so dangerous to the rest of us. They MUST be opposed and exposed. Once again, you stalwarts in the DC Chapter find yourselves on the front lines of the warfront here at home. You make us all so proud....

This FReep is one that I would actually drive halfway across the country for under normal circumstances, unfortunately it is impossible this month -- and I feel as though I'm shirking my duty not just as a FReeper, but as an American citizen, for missing it. Will be standing with the DC Chapter in spirit, and a modest contribution to the Chapter will go out in tomorrow's mail. Eagles Up and God bless you guys!

The Memorial is a lone sailor standing beside his seabag.
The sailor represents the hundreds of Naval personnel past/present that currently serve/served in the Navy. He also represents the Naval dependents that wait patiently at home for his return.

Hanoi Jane visited Vietnam while our military men were being tortured for serving their country...She is despised by many Americans.

BTW, Congresswoman Maxine Waters(CA.D.) from her bio... represents a large part of South Central Los Angeles and is a member of the Congressional Black Caucus.

"Has she learned nothing in the past 37 years?"

She learned that she and those traitorous bastards like her, can get away with treachery, treason and giving aid and comfort to the enemy...

In our "civilized" society, where dueling is illegal and we have laws against outraged folks running up to their tormentor and blowing their freaking brains out..

It's an open question, just how long we remain free or "civilized"....
Both are at risk, as I see it..
