I think the point missed by those who make such an argument is that people need to be responsible for their own actions. It's also just a shuck and jive - when pro aborts can't defend abortion as a matter of convenience and choice, they defend it as a matter of finance. "What - you expect me to actually PAY for the kid after I've made a conscious decision to have unprotected sex"?
