The article has some great graphics that I cannot get to reproduce by cutting and pasting, so I recommend following this link to the source:

I have been looking for a clear, coherent source of global climate facts like this to shove down the climate change demagogues for quite a while, and just stumbled on this today. I think there is some really good stuff here.

When did facts ever get in the way of people with a political agenda. Nice find!

My favorite site is this one and one of my favorite articles. ;)

http://www.ecoenquirer.com/red-cheeked-squirrel.htm

There are now unconfirmed reports that one of the environmentalists attending a "Save the Squirrels" demonstration accidently drove over the squirrel nest in question, killing the entire family of squirrels.

Even without the graphics, the "scientists" can not draw such sweeping conclusions from 150 years of reliable data plus scattered data points throughout geological history. The data set is too small, and 150 years is insignificant when stacked up against noticeable amounts of geological time. Unfortunately, the average citizen doesn't think about how the statistical analysis was conducted but rather listens to the conclusions that are being drawn out of thin air.

Figures don't lie, liars figure.

Global warming is just a shield for forcing the United States (and U.S. taxpayers) to transfer wealth to "developing" nations (and the dirtiest, highest-polluting economies) like China.

Local police have reportedly treated the case as an accident, and have not filed any charges against the woman, who is now under suicide watch at a local hospital.

Oh my.

You and I both know that, but we will get nowhere arguing the point with the people who have a religious belief in global warming.

Confronting them with irrefutable graphical evidence, however, is another story.

Check out story #9 at the ecoenquirer site:
"Hunter Jeremiah Johnson comforts a polar bear that had collapsed from heat exhaustion before he could shoot it. "

I think the other transparent motive for Kyoto was that the Euroweenies wanted to hamstring the American economy and damage us as a competitor. Kyoto hurts them a lot less than it does us. Eurogreenies have already damaged their competitiveness. Our own environazis want to shrink the American economy to force us to consume fewer resources. Kyoto and global warming are simply strategies and propaganda to that end.

What a great resource! According to that site, we should be ENCOURAGING greenhouse gas production, not discouraging it. (For the children, of course!)

This is also a good site:

http://www.co2science.org/scripts/CO2ScienceB2C/Index.jsp

Look up the historical record of temperature reports at a weather station near your home:

http://www.co2science.org/scripts/CO2ScienceB2C/data/ushcn/ushcn.jsp

I think the mean average temp. has been dropping at most of the U.S. weather stations for decades.

If the geologic record of climate changes holds its pattern over the last 750,000 years, and it appears to be a pattern with great regularity, then we have about 5,000 years at the outside before the earth is again plunged into 100,000 years of extremely nasty cold, wind and dryness. We are already about 5,000 years past the point of the minumum length of a warming period so it could actually begin again at any time. Not that there's any way to prevent it.
