Vanity: Prayer Request for FReeper cgk [Updates #287, 335]

FReeper FRiends: I was hoping to avoid this, but sometimes we just need extra help. I respectfully submit a Prayer Request to all of you as I am facing some issues that have me and my husband more than a little afraid, and concerned about those "what ifs." Just knowing what the Prayer Warriors did for me last spring, and how you all have come through for our family overall in times of trouble will be a huge comfort to me.

In a couple hours I'm heading to the cardiologist for an echocardiogram, as I am being tested for something called peripartum cardiomyopathy. I don't know enough about it yet (we just learned the cardiologist thought this might be what's ailing me yesterday), but know it's potentially serious for both myself and our unborn baby.

A recent series of events has quickly led to this, and with me in my 8th month of pregnancy (due date: April 14), the uncertainty has me hoping that some of your collective strength will assist both me and my husband get through this, no matter the outcome. I'll check in again as soon as possible, and update with results asap also. For now, I'm taking my daughter to her craft class to get us both out of the house.

Just knowing that the Prayer Warriors here on FR will read this has already relaxed my nerves. :-) Thank you in advance for taking a moment in your day to just stop and read this.
