What is it with you Rudyites smearing Ronald Reagan to try to make your liberal seem conservative? Reagan realized immediately that he had made a mistake and spent every day from then on out trying to end infanticide.

Rudy isn’t your first choice, or second or third, or fourth or fifth. I get that. He’s not my first, second, third, fourth or fifth either.
So, the “conservatives” here are going to vote for a liberal IF the republicans of this country nominate someone with a lisp? Or, you’ll just stay home as you did in November. Or someone else you don’t agree with 100%? You really need a candidate who follows you 100%, don’t you? Absolutely incredible. Also, absolutely impossible. But, then that same sentiment brought us the 2006 election results.
You can insult me and attack me all you want, but honest to God, I wish some of you would look at what you’re typing. Saying you won’t vote for Rudy or anyone ELSE you don’t agree with in the GENERAL ELECTION over Hillary? Or Gore? Because you don’t agree with them 100%, you’re going to have temper tantrums and stay home?
Yeah, we saw how well that worked in November. Didn’t make a bit of difference handing the Congressional majority to the democrats, did it? They’re only on track to force us to lose a war, subpeona republicans to death and investigate, impeach and incarcarate as many republicans as they can. It’s all revenge for them.

You hhave no idea how conservative I am. I'm also a realist. If Rudy is the Republican nominee he gets my vote without hesitation. I have nightmares of hearing the words "President Hillary." But I dreaded hearing "Speaker Pelosi" and that's what we got...We got what we deserved.
He might, but this Thompson supporter hopes he doesn’t consider that option. Fred can win the GOP nomination handily, and also whip the stuffing out of any Democratic nominee.
I honestly believe if anyone runs a 3rd party candidate, right or left- we’ll see an electoral college nightmare (making 2000 look like a picnic) and a likely win by whoever the Democrats have running.
I’ve never knowingly voted for a gun-grabbing pro-abortion liberal, and I’m not about to start now.

Fred won’t run 3rd party, he’s either going to win the GOP nomination, or we’ll lose with Rudy McRomney.
First of all, President Reagan did not hire Rudy to do anything that dealt with making policy. But I doubt you know that.
Secondly, Reagan was not above making bad decisions in his appointments and freely admitted it.
Thirdly, he was DEMOTED from his number 3 spot at Justice after two years.
But go right ahead and tell yourself that Reagan would have wanted this liberal to be president. It's pretty pathetic when the Rudyites borrow a page from Jim Webb.

You know what Jim? My Dad was a founder of the Right to Life Party on Long Island in NY Before Roe V Wade . He actually was their first National candidate. No one is more pro life than I am, but, with the exception of Bush 43 our pro life Presidents have done more harm than good on abortion.

Well, newsflash: this is why we have primaries - so the party members can pick the person they best think is fit for the job, and will govern in accordance with their philosophy. (In our case, as conservative Republicans, this philosophy is shockingly to follow the written U.S. Constitution, not the imaginary B.S. "penumbra-inclusive" Constitution.)
And if you have any conservative backbone in you, after getting a conservative on the general ticket, you'll campaign for that conservative, working to sway hearts & minds of fellow voters that this style of governance is better for everyone. You know, that axing babies isn't right, that forcing everyone to pay for said axing isn't fair, that stealing your property so a powerful corporation can build on it is wrong, or that yes, you really do have a right to a firearm.
This is what's known as "grassroots" politicking, and has been proven to be critical to winning elections. Or is this too much "realism" for you?
You know who I voted for in the last election? Tom Kean!!!!! I disagree with every word out of his mouth-—but he lost and we now have Speaker Pelosi and Majority Leader Reid. Could things get any worse? At least I didn’t stay home and don’t have the guilt of knowing my inaction is responsible for the current state of Congress.
