Has anyone ever wondered about Rudy’s bout with cancer during his run for the Senate and how he went into remission immediately after Hillary won the Senate race? When he dropped out there really wasn’t much time for another Pub to rev up a campaign, leaving it for Hillary to win. He sure seems hale and hearty now, raking in the speech dough.

Now that we have EVERYTHING Rudy talked about in the 90`s, when will his comments from high school be posted?

They appear to be news clips, one does not need to dig. BTW I bet he had a goofy haircut...;)

“its disturbing that on so many social issues he is a liberal.”

The 2nd Amendment is not a social issue... nor is the 1st.

IIRC Rudy kept the campaign dough too, I’m sure Lazio could have put it to good use. We might not even be talking about a Hillary presidency if it wasn’t for the actions of Rudy.

But he is very well spoken and articulate.

Now you're getting all racial! At least you didn't say he's clean...

I am so glad I stopped supporting this socialist wacko.

Up until about a month ago, I was still heard to say that if I had to have one of the Rudy McRomney guys, it would be Rudy. Well, I ain't sayin' that anymore, not since the NARAL dinner rrevelation.

Ya think this is too harsh as a tagline?

Actually, I do. If the idea is that Islam itself--and not the wing trying to radicalize it--is the problem, then one would have to round up all the U.S. Muslims and machine gun them to death, then convince most of the countries on the planet to do the same with theirs.

So much for Rudy. At least he stepped out promptly on 9-11. He didn't take cover for 8 hours in some cave.

Hey, big man, where'd you sleep on the night of September 11th? that guy you're calling a coward slept in a building the terrorists had targeted that very morning.

Your post could have been a line in an Osama video. Get bent.

“IOW, he’s the best Democrat in the race.”

I don’t know, at least Bill Richardson is RKBA and pro death penalty. I wonder what the NRA would do vis a vis Richardson vs Rudi

BASELICE POLL SHOW GIULIANI LEADING IN TEXAS
Thompson and McCain tied for second

According to recent tests of likely GOP voters by Republican pollster Mike Baselice, presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani remains a solid first choice at 24%. He has shown some erosion from January to April but it was within the margin of error.

What is at least as interesting was the tie at 19% between John McCain and possible candidate Fred Thompson.

Check out the head to head plus the positive-negative numbers in this release from Mike Baselice.

Two things:

1. Romney will hit his stride. he may not be the nominee, but he'll be a force. I think a lot of money will start moving to him instead of McCain and Giuliani as things go forward.

2. If Fred gets in--and he will--he can do the job.

I was starting to reconsider my stance, but after learning that Rudy is pro-illegal immigration and...this may be the worst one...HE WAS A SUPPORTER OF MCCAIN/FEINGOLD! That is just downright despicable in my book

Some good news on that -----> Mitt's supporter, James Bopp, Jr, argued before the Sup Ct today for gutting some of M-F and received positive feedback from Justice Kennedy. So we may be heading for another 5-4 win on that one.
The Fundamental Flaw in McCain-Feingold.

I really believe Rudy became a Republican by default. The Democratic party in NY is a big as it gets and extremely left, their was no room for him. The GOP up their is so watered down they’ll take anyone, look at Bloomberg. Sadly, it took a tragedy to propel Rudy into the spotlight. Had there been no 9/11 people would be laughing at his bid for President. Running a city is not the same as running a country, his attitude is not what this country needs. I think the MSM and Dems would love him representing the GOP. If people don’t think they don’t have a boatload of dirt that has not been revealed then they are clueless and that is beside the fact that he is unabashedly liberal compared to what the conservative base is.

Which conservative candidate wants to ban abortion?

The answer, of course, is none. If you’re truly anti-abortion, that’s what you want. A total ban.

But, you’ll refuse to vote for a republican who YOU deem not worthy of your vote. But, you can’t find a candidate who agrees with you on enough issues to nominate.

It’s just mind numbing to watch what is surely to become another 2006 election in 2008. The candidates won’t be conservative enough, so you’ll have a fit and stay home or worse.

Jeff, find the candidate who will ban abortion and promote him or her on the ticket. Work to get him or her nominated. And, by all means, tell us who that candidate is.

stand, then you too need to nominate your perfect candidate. Find that anti abortion candidate who will ban the procedure outright. Find the conservative who will build a concrete wall on the border.

And then, get that person elected.

But, pardon me for pointing out that you’d rather go fishing.

And what I’ve said to others.

Instead of complaining about Rudy, do something about finding your own perfect candidate.

Conservatives have NEVER been a group to wait for someone else to do something, conservatives get it done themselves. Until now, it seems. What are you waiting for? Find that conservative who will ban abortion and do all the right things when it comes to guns and nominate that person.
