Last month, Mexican military officials in Matamoros, just south of Brownsville, Texas, stopped a tractor-trailer containing weapons and ammunition, along with a pickup truck fitted with armor and bulletproof glass. The weapons included 18 M-16 assault rifles, one equipped with an M-203 40mm grenade launcher. Also seized were several M-4 carbines, 17 handguns of various calibers, 200 magazines for different weapons, 8,000 rounds of ammunition, assault vests and other military accessories.

Invasion.
Anyone who thinks that border security is a single issue is fooling themselves. The invasion across our southern border is so far-reaching as to potentially be a threat to the survival of the United States. Drugs, violent crime, terrorist infiltration, and the like are the tip of the iceburg.
Amnesty? Both the democrats and the republicants want to grant it, against the wishes of the overwhelming majority of American citizens. U.S. Sen. Jeff Sessions' impact analysis shows the "immigration" model would permit up to 217.1 million new legal immigrants into the United States over the next 20 years, a number equal to 66 percent of the total current population of the United States. Even if the maximum levels are not reached, the increase to the U.S. population caused by S. 2611 will be at least 78.7 million in 20 years, just over 25 percent of the total current population.
Both parties think that they can secure greater political power through granting amnesty, but any thinking American knows the majority of the "New Americans" will vote democrat... and thus ensure liberal control of the House, Senate, presidency, and Supreme Court for the forseeable future.
I think that we are drawing ever closer to war along our southern border. The first shots are not likely to be taken by our military, but by private citizens who decide enough is enough. It is a shame that many of our elected leaders no longer consider themselves bound to the electorate or even to reason. Never before in the history of the United States have so many on Capitol Hill been so out of touch with the wishes of the overwhelming majority of Americans. Never before has our leadership been so willing to utterly ignore their duties to the Constitution, the rights of American citizens, and the very principles of America herself.
"Never before has our leadership been so willing to utterly ignore their duties to the Constitution, the rights of American citizens, and the very principles of America herself". I agree about the leadership, very soon they attempt to deprive most Citizens of their 2nd Amendent rights and if successful we will have lost our country.
The la raza bunch have goals which are a significant threat to our national security, and they are motivated, mobilized, and moving forward toward those goals. Not only has our government done nothing to stop the invasion, both political parties have been aiding and abetting the enemy.
The invaders continue to escalate the crisis, and someday the situation will boil over. I have zero confidence that our government will do anything meaningful to avoid what is almost certain to become a bloody mess.
The National Guard needs to be allowed to do more than observe. I would love to see them armed to the teeth, authorized to act, and patrolling the border in Humvees.
Ping!

One of the best summaries of our current plight that I have read on Free Republic, or anywhere else for that matter.
Thank you.
Illegal immigration will be the defining issue of our time... and the time to fight it is now.
Ping to self for later video watching.
Probably all mexican Army property.
Amnesty will take care of all of that and more.
Get rid of the Border Patrol, put the US military on the border with Mexico, and tell the Mexican government that any future illegal entries by Mexican citizens will be considered acts of war.
Wow! What a video!
