Since the MSM seem to have in place a general media blackout of the Gathering of Eagles, anyone out there gonna keep us posted with the numbers? Pics? Videos?
BTTT!
Good luck!
Fox is covering them. There are some very big men in the crowd, men the pacifists wouldn't mess with.
FOX is giving it a mention. They are not giving the anarchists a lot of attention, but each update has mentioned our side.
Did you hear them say there had been a little "pushing and shoving?"

checking Youtube for anything worth posting...nothing yet.
bttt
I see shadows on the ground--that's means at least a little bit of sunshine to temper the cold...
Watching C-SSPAN or listening to all the radio news, you'd think there were nothing but anti-American peaceniks converging on DC, and that's all.
I've been seeing a little coverage
about it. Crowds ain't too big.
One reporters said that therwe
appear to be only one or two thousand
antiwar protestors, versus their
permit for 30,00, and their
braggadiocio, of expecting hundreds
of thousands.
The reporter gave the impression
that the GoE counter protestors
was larrge, but from the camera
angles shown, i didn't see more
than 50 to a hundred.
Apparently there were a couple
of shoving matches between some
on each side, but the cops shut
em down pretty quickly.
The reporter said that the
cops seemed to be particularly
nervous for this protest.
All the camera angles i've seen,
are street/eye level...as one
cynuic once related to nme, was
to make a small group seem larger
than they actually are....When
crowds are actually large, they do
a lot of cajmera shots from roofs
or helicopters.
No helicopter shots yet.....;o)
t
I heard about a week ago that Rolling Thunder
had put out the call, but to bus in, and not ride their bikes there.
:-)
They may be worried that it wouldn't take much for some real American men to turn anti-war sheehanista pussies into stains on the sidewalk.
bump so I can follow through the day....
Hopefully there are plenty of video cameras scattered throughout our gathering ready to capture any trouble that the anti's may start. Our side will always need visual proof against the lying "word" of the lefties. We'll be here waiting for more pictures and reports, especially for a picture of the "sea of Red, White and Blue" Flag City!
This is great! This is really great! I truly wish I could be there!
For the moonbats, maybe. The pro America crowd is huge. From the GOE site:
The turnout has been AMAZING! At about 1030 the moonbats had maybe 400-600. Our crowd was huge, spread out over three areas (the main rally point east of the Wall, the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, and congregated in front of the paltry herd of moonbats. I am guessing we had at least 4,000 at that time, probably more. Now, the march of the moonbats isnt schedule to start until noonish, so it will grow, but we still have folks arriving all the time. This ol cynic is truly inspired. Thank you everyone!
FNC FemPorter says the Anti-Crowd
now appears to be about 4K to 5K.
thank you for this thread.. Last minute MAJOR van problems prevented my trip. Bummer.. but glad you have a thread up with pix.
who is Jeff ...with the pix.. FReeper maybe?
You have that one right Prairie
You and me both! 99.9% of the time, you couldn't pay me to live out there in all that traffic/people. My sister does and when we go visit, I say give me Spencer Co. with only 5 stoplights in the entire county! But today, I'd love to be there!
over here
They aren't starting until NOON! I guess they all had to sleep in today. Wouldn't want to put them out any.
Man, I would LOVE to be there!!!! Too far away and too little money...
There are THOUSANDS of Patriots there! I couldn't make it up to DC so I put in a call to her on her cell phone. She said it's a muddy mess but they've got a stage and quite a number of speakers addressing the crowd. Good sound system too...I could here part of a speech of a mother talking about her son who considered it an honor to serve in the 101st Airborne in Iraq.
Anglewood also reported that ABC, CNN, FOX are there and there was a helicopter circling overhead. Unknown if it was media or NPS on patrol.
MARINE ONE also flew overhead at one point!
The memorials WERE PROTECTED! The Vietnam Wall has been guarded for three days by GOE and the NPS has a metal detector set up at the entrance to the Wall. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
There are thousands of American Flags set up on the National Mall and I imagine it's quite a sight.
I talked to her at 12:30PM and they said the stage presentation was wrapping up and they were going to disperse to their permitted areas along the Commie death march route. The wind is howling and she didn't know if they'd be able to deploy their larger banners.
I'll report more as I recieve information from onsite.
EAGLES AND FREEPERS UP!
I heard the March started
at 12:30pm EDT..that was about
16 minutes ago..heard the crowd
is log jammed at a bridge.
Here's another Live blog....

Quint and I are praying for safety for all the patriots who are gathered in D.C. so that the zealous who have let their message of hatred interfere with the right for all the patriots to express themselves. We also pray for warmth in what has turned out to be a horrific winter storm. We hope that all of you gathered out there will feel the warmth of our embrace as we pray for each one of you.
"heard the crowd is log jammed at a bridge."
Is that a gay reference?
They aren't even smart enough to figure out how to march and not get jammed up?! Pathetic
Angelwood is an angel.... and so are you...:^)
LOL! Take it however you want to..No
doubt there are a number of fudge
pakers in that anti-war crowd.
:o)
Me too, it's a 12 hour drive for me to get to DC and I don't have the time off to do it. Money wise, well I could have stayed @ my sisters house, but it's the time. Now if I win the Powerball tonight.....
Bwahahahaha.....
Now tell us what you really think.
:-)
bump
I have been praying through the night and the morning, for strength, numbers and protection for our patriots/veterans/troops on the scene in Washington, D.C.
May God continue to bless them all.
Looks like a good turnout. Considering that has to be the guard detail at the Lincoln Memorial. I notice from maps at the GOE site, they had a section of the sidewalk *on the Memorial side* of the "parade" route of the Red Diaper Babies, aka ANSWER, I'd expect that is in the nature of a detachment, not the main body of the Good Guys.
Thank you for this thread.
Update on Fox right now.....
There are thousands of American Flags set up on the National Mall and I imagine it's quite a sight.
Fox is just saying the war protesters have about 5,000 marchers. Their permit was for 30,000. Heh heh.
Thank you kindly! :-)
Eagles Up! :*)
Cutting to the chase here, I think it's time for the stinky commie hippies to start being very afraid.
When I look at the lead photo in this thread, I so love seeing the vets, I could HUG every one of them and yet... they look so crammed in and corraled. I'd like to see them spreading out in fighting formation and kicking some filthy traitor butt.
Yes, God knows this, I also prayed for victory for the righteous patriots of this great Nation.
GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS, PAST PRESENT AND FUTURE!!!

Just saw that on FOX. There was a mix of some Che placards and Cuban flags among the moonbats
Fox is reporting that the Great Unwashed were only able to turn out about 5,000 of the hard core leftist. No estimate of how many Patriots turned out, but I'd be surprised if it weren't at least that many, maybe somewhat more. Photos show a shoulder to shoulder guard detail at the Wall, and several deep at the Lincoln Memorial detachment.
tears in my eyes as I read this. Thank you
I have Kristinn's cell number but hesitated calling as I know he is very busy. I think I might have a couple others.. will check & call them.
thanks for idea.
keep us posted. Imagine it is noisy & getting the phone heard yet alone messages might be tough
LOL. True too.
Mine too. When I first saw that photo enlarged, it sent chills up my back, LOL.
All those flags--that is a beautiful sight! :*)
Gives me hope for America's future!
