A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY

Welcome to Warm Fuzzy Wednesday at the Finest. For those who start counting the days on Monday until the weekend, we're halfway there! So we're here to banish those doldrums and make you smile inside! Please feel free to post sweet graphics and/or little stories that make you feel all warm and fuzzy - or just come by and give us a smile. Only two more days 'til the weekend!

Now don't be gone so long next time, or else we won't be in such a good mood.

LOL Heck, wolfie's been here quite a bit lately, even got sore paws from so much posting the other day. : )

But then.....the longer wolfie stays away.....the more hugs and smooches he gets. Mama didn't raise no dunce. : )

Some people devise different setups for 24/7 Freeping.

Here's one:

How was the day over your way, GeeBee?

Our Spring morning was dramatic. We had rain showers yesterday and last night, so this morning was brisk with assorted clouds above. The cold, crisp breeze reminded me of Ireland or San Francisco. Bracing and refreshing.

I like it; would like to be outdoors more...

Warm Fuzzy Wednesday Poetry

Celebrity

The events of the Day are jumbled and still not clear to me
When it was decided that I was to be a "Fashion Accessory"
For flashing Click Box Pictures of a famous Pretty One
Modeling "Tight, Slinky Little Numbers" made for Summer Fun

Being the Studio Kitten, I really didn't have much say in the matter
As the place filled up with warm lights and layers of chatter
I looked around to see what all the noise was about
Sitting inquisitively with posture firm and stout

When I was suddenly scooped up and placed delicately upon the shoulder
Of the Famous Pretty One, I couldn't possibly feel much bolder
Helping as the Famous Pretty One posed and looked this way and that
In an "Ensemble" perfectly accented by a wide eyed, handsome Little Cat
As the lights became warmer and I began to slide

Down a smooth and perfect curve and into a snug Hammock to hide
No one seemed to notice or to question or even think
Until it was decided to change "The Look" from "Orange" to "Pink"
And someone discovered a weightless Kitten relishing forty winks!

Well, we missed a good chance today of rain. It got so dark at one point that the street lights came on. But that's all gone. Your graphics are so cute. Take care.
