Yeah, I learned a lot from him and applied that lesson to other areas. Take someone with a heart issue regarding money and listen to the negativity or snide remarks towards those who inherit or gain it somehow.

The one thing that was most impressive about this guy, his second wife was really the problem (I knew that from someone else) yet, he never said one thing about her. He took the blame/criticism and said 'you're probably right' to those with 'it was all his fault because of career, lifestyle, etc'. He did it because he knew his own personality could withstand the criticism and his ex's couldn't. He did what he had to do and got on with life.

Six marriages between them. Yes, that will play well with the social conservatives!

Rudy and Judy and their six marriages.
Newt the sexual predator
Mitt and the religion of polygamy
Just a lovely crop we've got this time around.

Anyone who can know a woman since childhood, and be married to her for 14 years, without knowing she's his second cousin, is not smart or inquisitive enough to be president.

All of Rudy's problems run counter to the image he has cultivated as the "tough" federal prosecutor and mayor who cleaned up New York City.

Rudy never even "knew" his former driver and bodyguard was a mobbed-up, government fraudster when he pushed Kerik on GWB for Home/Land/Sec..........while Rudy and Kerik ran a "security firm." So-called security expert Rudy was siccing this shady guy on the nation to protect OUR security. Rudy never even vetted Kerik for illegal immigrant problems, mob ties, and other shady activities.

Kerik had problems way back, as NYC Correction Commissioner, a job given to him by Giuliani. Last year, Kerik pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor corruption charges, one of them for letting an alleged mob-tied firm renovate his apartment at no cost. He was fined $221,000.

Fast forward to March 13, 2007: Ex-commissioner Kerik rejected a plea deal offered by federal prosecutors that would have required Kerik to serve time in prison. The deal would have Kerik plead guilty to tax fraud and illegal eavesdropping conspiracy charges in exchange for his guilty plea.

Investigators were willing to end the federal criminal probe into Kerik's alleged wrongdoing which includes allegations of mortgage fraud, tax fraud, conspiracy to eavesdrop and making false statements on his application to become U.S. Homeland Security Secretary.

As part of the investigation, officials want to know if Kerik received use of a midtown Manhattan apartment for sexual liasions after 9/11 from a prominent real estate developer without ever having claimed use of that apartment on any tax or disclosure forms.

That is damning.

If Rudy is a leftist, why is he so greatly hated by NYC leftists? As they say in the Mid-East, "the enemy of my en
emy is my friend".

Rudy is NOT a leftist. He had extremely strong conservative fiscal policies in NYC, he reduced the welfare rolls, cleaned up the city and made it a good place for tourism again. He has a record that denies all the lies the Rudyphobes are spewing about him. In a perfect world, he would have the same conservative social politics I admire, but no one's perfect. He has my vote if he wins the nomination. And as a person who has been married more than once, living in a country where over half the population has been married more than once, and many are just living together, this will not deter people from supporting Rudy Giuliani for President if they want his leadership.

Rudy Giuliani called Attorney General Edwin Meese a 'sleaze', supported Mario Cuomo over his own Party's nominee for Governor, George Pataki, said that murdering an unborn child isn't as bad as murdering a child already living, and if that were not enough, the former George McGovern supporter said that his positions were very much like the Clintons. Rudy for President? NO effin way! 'FRiends don't let FRiends vote for RINOS', vote for a REAL conservative, Congressman Duncan Hunter!

You go, Rudy!!

President Reagan was also divorced and had problems with his children. His slutty daughter even posed in Playboy just to embarrass her father. Don't let the bastards grind ya down.

So who's your ticket. Don't be shy. You can't win by tearing the other guy down unless you have someone better.

"...her secret first husband..."

Mine was David Cassidy. Or was it Bobby Sherman? Maybe Davey Jones? I don't remember. ;)

Can't stand Rudy, and as for his choices in third wives, this certainly proves that water seeks it's own level. I could never vote for him.

Please don't let the GOP be so stupid as to nominate him. The only saving grace is that we still have 20 months to go until November '08. Lots can happen, and I pray that it does. (All good, of course, but we'll see.)

I think you really have alot of nerve with your snarky insinuation. I am disgusted by cheating on your spouse, I don't care if you hate your spouses gut. You are a spineless sneak if you cheat. Get the dang divorce. I have been happily married for 17 years, I don't have marriage issues. I find that anyone who is so selfish, that they would humiliate their families to be dishonest. If you can screw over your kids, anybody else would be a piece of cake.

You go, Rudy!!

Oh he's going, but it ain't to the White House. I can hear that old taunt directed at Grover Cleveland being resurrected for Rudy:

'maw! maw! where's my paw?' "running for the White House, haw! haw! haw!"

President Reagan was also divorced

Initiated by his first wife Jane Wyman, and our 40th President didn't have the morals of an alley cat like Rudy apparently did.

and had problems with his children. His slutty daughter even posed in Playboy just to embarrass her father.

And yet President Reagan proceeded to go down in history as the greatest President of the 20th Century.

Don't let the bastards grind ya down.

Rudy doesn't have to worry about them grinding him down, he's already done a fine job of that himself with his own outrageous personal behavior.
