Thanks, Kitty. I always cut some of the 'clusters' and put them in small vases inside because it's better than any candle or air freshners! They just don't last very long, that's the only problem.

I LOVE those trees. We used to have one at our old home and they do smell wonderful in the springtime. I really miss it!

You’re very welcome. We are the ones who are grateful to all the sons, daughters, husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews who are dedicating their lives to protect us all from terrorism.

Some of our trees are just loaded right now, and some are just starting to bloom. I’m hoping to have some still fresh this weekend.

I love them I should talk my hubby into planting one.

The only thing he didn’t like was the beans in the fall.

I guess that all trees have some bad features, but some of the other best things about the honeylocust: they grow very fast; they can be beautiful multi-trunk trees; the leaves are small and delicate. The bad things are they are so susceptible to bores, and the limbs have thorns. (which is the main reason we planted them though - kept the horses from "grazing" on them!)

Our messiest trees by far are live oak, chinaberry, cottonwood, and cherry laurel.

LOL! I thought so too. I found a website that had a bunch of mostly cat/kitten pictures already captioned with some cute titles. The 'steelin' your fizz' was my favorite. Here are a couple more...

Knitting a Conundrum has started a thread just for rose lovers/rose growers. You might want to take a look-see, and post some photos there too...

Thanks, I will check it out. I love anything having to do with flowers, roses, gardening. I'm not an authority on any of it, but my flowers seem to do pretty well...(and what doesn't do well I rip out of the ground and try something else).
