“I miss the Democrats that were in charge. Especially Joe Biden. And Joe Biden’s head. Tracking the progress of his plug job was like watching time-lapse photography of a chia pet.”

Bada Bing!

Also, I think that remembering it lends support to what Peter Paul has said: That the person responsible for sticking the knife into Imus, to get him conveniently out of the way of her forthcoming campaign, was none other than the Hildabeast. Revenge is a dish best served cold.

Now, that's a stretch. Why, I don't think that Hillary even knows who the head of Media Matters is. ;-)

What I'm trying to figure out is why Media Matters is monitoring a liberal like Imus, of all people.

I heard the NPR interview with Burns, the Media Matters weasel, and he made a disclaimer to the nervously laughing NPR weenie that 'they monitor NPR and The New York Times, also'.

I would have challenged the weasel about his organization's behavior, myself, but the NPR weenie didn't question it a bit...

SeeBS pwns MTV, BET, AND Comedy Central

You're talking about what I call the "hip-hopocrites." Acting holier-than-thou while actively exploiting race and America's kids to bring in the corporate dough. It's the music company execs and the top corporate media people who profit from this cultural swill who need to be held accountable, along with the Imuses, Sharptons and Jacksons.

“Maybe Imus’s long time criticism of Hitlery is the reason Sharpton went after him. Sharpton is a Hitlery supporter. Maybe he was doing Hitlery’s dirty work. This is kind of thing the Clinton’s specialize in. They are ruthless.”

Remember that Naval impact gunnery range on that island in Purto Rico they wanted to shut down and give back? Hillbillary and Sharpton were working in lock step so close, they appeared as one. Sharpton got arrested down there and went on a 45 minute hunger strike of heavy soup “Sheehan” style. They work hand in hand, and she never can forgive—ever.
The “jigaboo” comment was much worse than anything Imus said, the problem is the target didn’t say it, not because it was stated in any movie. That tells me this wasn’t about any racial slur.

“Imus is hardly dead. He will rise again, phoenix like, from the ashes of the fire invoked by the pious, such as yourself William.”

Barry Young, a talk show host here in Phoenix and syndicator (Kim Kimando, BTW, His wife) said last week he will contact Imus about a new Gig! Would be nice. Imus was a grouchy old fart and an equal opportunity slammer but he had his audience. Read:$$$$$

But he never paid the money.

I thought it was only Brawley who didn't pay Pagones.

What's your source on Sharpton?

I never heard of Media Matters, I don’t think, but the people who follow this kind of stuff certainly have. All it required was for someone to speak to some key people in the media, and especially at CBS, and to tell them to go with it.

Whether hillary was in on it at the beginning I have no idea, but all she had to do was watch for an opportunity and go for it. A few words to Reverend Al, a few more words to the higher ups at CBS, was all it would take.

Clinton had four or five reporters fired while he was president, including Chris Ruddy and that fellow at IBD. All he had to do was threaten a little regulatory trouble.

Media Matters for America is headed by David Brock (who while he was a conservative penster wrote The Seduction of Hillary Clinton, a somewhat sympathetic biography of Her Heinous).

Brock, who started out the impeachment wars as a conservative hitman working for the likes of The American Spectator, was later turned to the Dark Side by Clinton apologist ol' Dead Eyes.

So, like Tinker to Evers to Chance (Hillary to Brock to Sharpton), Dom Imus was out of there!.

It gets stranger. Apparently, Timmy the Potato and The Trump were both begging Imus to have the Queen of Hearts on his show, and he refused Trump the morning before the Media Matters blastfax, calling Hitlery "Satan" for the last time...

Now the ‘black’ community will become more closely associated with extortion and racism than with righteousness and justice than before.

When a voting majority has decided to adopt an attitude of "to Hell with them", the ‘black’ community is in trouble

BTW, if I remember correctly Sharpton did have to pay a price for the things he said during the Tawana Brawley thingy. He lost in civil court.

In 1998 Pagones was awarded $345,000 (he sought $150 million) through a lawsuit for defamation of character that he had brought against Sharpton, Maddox, and Mason, in which the jury found Sharpton liable for making seven defamatory statements about Pagones, Maddox for two and Mason for one. I fondly remember the old Dean Martin-sponsored roasts on TV years back.

I recently watched a roast on Comedy Central, and it was nothing but foul jokes, not even related to the roast-ee’s personality. Just a sewer stream of vulgarit, not even funny.

So I couldn’t say if Imus’s was unusual in that regard.

An interesting thought, and very Mediterranean (as per your quote of the Italian), but how can we know whether Beastwoman was the "arranger" of Imus's kneecap removal?
