Fortunately, Stossel could take Rosie in his sleep. :-)

Last week the Washington Post interviewed a 9-year-old who said the Earth is "just starting to fade away." In 20 years there will be "no oxygen" he said, and he'll be dead.
Nice of the reprehensible demagogue Al Gore to reassure the kid. Oh wait, nowhere does it say that he did...

OK, but Dr. D obviously knocked some sense into him. :-)

John Stossel stuck a microphone in the face of wrestler "Dr. D" after a segment where he exposed how wrestling was choreographed and asked him if wrestling was fake. He took a heavy whap to the ear that made him stagger and fall. He then made a bigger mistake...he got up. The wrestler hit him again. Geraldo was hit by a chair on the set of his talk show by a neo-Nazi, I believe.
Check out John Stossel at Wikipedia.

If sea levels rise, we can build dykes and move back from the coasts. It worked for Holland. Even though this wouldn't happen for centuries even at the most dire rates of ice melting suggested by the fanatics, a simpler solution would be to just create huge inland seas in lowland deserts like Death Valley; this would be a simple and relatively cheap solution.

So who is that guy?
It says "Dr." something-or-other on his trunks, but he looks like "Handsome" Harley Race.
Or am I going way too far back in the annals of professional wrestling?

Sweet. Can I get in on this? I want to help liberals assuage their guilt too.

Oh...okay...I see it's "Dr. D."
But has anyone other than me heard of "Handsome" Harley Race?

NO REASON, that there shouldn't be native brown trout thereThere is not a single living Brown Trout in the entire state of Mississippi. They must have got an early start on global warming.

Last week the Washington Post interviewed a 9-year-old who said the Earth is "just starting to fade away." In 20 years there will be "no oxygen" he said, and he'll be dead. The Post went on to say that "for many children and young adults, global warming is
defining their generation." How sad.Sad, indeed. And they are really beginning to push this carp in the schools, showing Algore's environmental scarefest. I can imagine some weak minded kids being pushed over the edge to suicide or homicide because they have been led to believe that the earth is dying and they have nothing to live for.

aarrghhh!!! Reading those quotes from those "intellectuals" makes me feel like I just took a stupid pill, a really big one, probably as a suppository.
Let us take a moment to consider that these " intellectuals" are just barking dogs.
There! that is much better!

Uh the earth has been warming since the last ice age. It happens this global warming is a myth and will allow governments to tax for carbon offsets. Another dem reason to scam money from hard working people.
To: Omega Man II
Greenland was named this to throw off people from finding Icleand. It was a play on words. I love how the left bends the truth to make their arguments legitimate.

"Speaking of global warming nuts, is it legal for the Sierra Club to call me if I am on the no call list?"
If they're just seeking a donation for their "worthy" cause and they're not trying to sell you something (other than a wagon load of equine excrement), then it's (probably) legal.

I get the impression liberal doom mongers hate civilization. But not much they'd sacrifice THEIR own energy-hungry lifestyles to eliminate it. Hypocrites!

Environmentalists think man has no right to manage Nature and tame the wilderness. They think Man is a blight upon the earth. In contrast, we believe harnessing Nature and taming the wilderness benefits both wild beasts and Man. And we think Man is the good steward of the bounty of the earth.
