The song is sung to the tune of “Puff the Magic Dragon.”

Don’t know what song (if any) Rush uses for the “Breck girl.”

Remember, the “Magic Negro” term being used in the parody is from an L.A.Times editorial, not something that Limbaugh dreamed up.
He is lampooning the racial double standard. Imagine the outcry if a conservative writer had called Obama the “Magic Negro.”

From what I heard, mr Obama’s major concerns are for black babies (as President don’t you need to be for ALL babies and people? just asking);)
AND his other major concern was for HIS people and the way they were treated during Katrina....hmmm can you say pandering and losing the white vote.....

Last night on a KSFO live weekend show a caller identifying himself as conservative chatted about an issue then said that he was African-American and that Rush was broadcasting a song called "Negro the magic Dragon" (or similar such title). The caller said that he was offended and Rush should maybe be kicked off the air. No mention of Obama, just Negro; and of course no mention of the LA
Times which was the source of Obama the magic Negro.
The host (a new guy who does the Saturday night show) promised to look into it and report next week. He agreed that some conservative hosts go too far. I'd already written off this new guy from his past comments -- maybe he's a token liberal put in by KSFO / KGO liberal bosses.
Was the caller conservative? I wonder how many local stations got / will be getting the same type of call from "conservatives" in their area.

AND his other major concern was for HIS people and the way they were treated during Katrina.... The question is how many billions of dollars have to be spent in New Orleans before his people will feel like they are treated "right"?
