Syria can’t be stupid enough to think they could prevail. One thing is 1000% certain, if Syria attacks, Israel will not fight some “PC” war like they did recently. It will be a go for the throat, all out effort.

The Syrians have a secret weapon giving them the ability to win the battle, regain the Golan, and possibly destroy Israel.

They can be that stupid. They could think they have an advantage that Israel cannot overcome right now, especially if they have Saddam's WMDs in the Baka Valley.

One thing is 1000% certain, if Syria attacks, Israel will not fight some “PC” war like they did recently. It will be a go for the throat, all out effort.
To be sure, if Syria launches missiles loaded with WMDs, Damascus will be burnt toast.

Offering to evacuate thousands of Jewish settlers on the West Bank and make other concessions, Meridor said: “I do not know a country in the world which would risk as much” for peace.”

No country should ever make concessions to countries that breed, harbor or support terrorists or Muslim extremists in any way. Syria and Palestine will not accept anything less than total surrender followed by the death of every single Israeli and Christian. I know that Israel understands this better than any other country, yet they keep making these concessions.

"Our foreign relations through Rice and Pelosi encourages Syria."

Like what terrorist country, cell, or militia is NOT encouraged by them and Reid?

Thanks, familyop. I am all too familiar with our role in getting Israel to make concessions to the enemy. It makes no sense at all. If we were hit as often on our own shores as Israel is, I know our government would take some serious action (911 anyone?). I also know we would NOT make any concessions as long as a Republican was in the White House, so why do we ask Israel to show restraint?

They could.

Syria, Hizbollah, Hamas, supported by Egypt and the Saudis, who have modern military platforms. At a time where the US might be expected to apply pressure should thing go badly.

They could make that mistake again.

Damascus will be burnt toast.

That's something that is about a thousand years overdue. Crusaders should have burned it and salted the earth.
