Iran: no one able to attack us

A top military advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei says no country has the ability to attack Iran.

"In case of any aggression against Iran, our enemies will face the iron fist of the forces of Islam," Brigadier General Naser Arasteh told reporters.

Arasteh said that peaceful coexistence was a basic policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, adding that his country's military doctrine had been drawn up based on defense, so Iran would pose no threat to any other country.

The Leader's military advisor also said the enemies, especially the US, knew that they did not have the ability to attack Iran.

He added Iran's army with an eight year experience of war and modern tactics was in an unprecedented state of power.

I know, I know. ...."the mother of all battles" and all that jazz. Same old song and dance. Where's that pic of Baghdad Bob when you need it.

All turban, no camels.

Maybe he means that their propaganda machine has been measured to be 100% effective. I look around and I’m not laughing.

Hint to Iran: See Saddam and Iraq.

I think the Mullahs must have picked up Baghdad Bob on waivers. In case you hadn't heared, Bob was recently cut by Saddam and the Baathists.

We should have rolled east and west when we could — when we had the full support of the American people to do it.

Internally, iran is in a guns vs butter situation. This is more “guns” talk whereas the common iranian just wants a better life = BUTTER. Macho monkey posturing for WAR by the iranian military turns them OFF. They see the HELL that iraq is going through and they want instead a modern, prosperous economy, not THAT. Soon it will be decided : an iran returned to medieval barbarism, or a 21st century modern state. Nutjob may soon be OUT of a job...

Here a guessing game - Who Am I?

I can attack Iran.

Here is a hint -
I contain oralloy
I use PBX-9501 - an HMX-based plastic bonded explosive composition
I have these additional features:
Beryllium reflected plutonium fissile core for primary
Deuterium-tritium boosted
Lithium-6 (95% enrichment) deuteride fusion fuel

Need more?

I have:
RUPL (radar-updated path length) error compensation (adjusts fuzing to minimize effect of delivery inaccuracy)
Force-balance integrating accelerometer (FBIA)
All solid-state radar to provide airburst and proximity fuzing
Contact fuze
Plasmatron firing device

Go ahead and guess. But be specific!

I’ll post the answer later for those still stumped!

U.S. War with Iran would be Navy, Air Force show: Analysts Some point to buildup in Persian Gulf region as precursor to attack

By WILLIAM H. MCMICHAEL

The attack would probably come by air. Waves of U.S. cruise missiles and warplanes loaded with smart weapons would swoop into Iran from the sea and land bases to destroy key Iranian nuclear facilities.

Out in the Persian Gulf, the U.S. Navy would wipe out Iran’s navy in a matter of days. Iran’s air defenses could possibly take out a few higher-flying Navy and Air Force tactical jets before being located and destroyed.

In short, the first round would go decisively to the United States

Iran's credit rating would be 127 afterwards.

I think the Iranian government needs a wake-up call:

Jimmy Carter is no longer president.
