I’m in Kern County. It’s as good as “Shall Issue”. We have over 4,400 permits issued for a population of around 600K. More than any county in the state.

Is that where Isleton is? I heard that the sheriff there would issue to any qualified applicant, and other parts of CA had their collective (and collectivist) panties in a bunch because of it.

Im in Kern County. Its as good as Shall Issue. We have over 4,400 permits issued for a population of around 600K. More than any county in the state. And just north of Kern County is Inyo County with a population of around 18,000 and is also a "shall issue" county. We also have a lot of hunters here with rifles and shotguns carried in rifle racks in pickups and an extremely low crime rate.

Gotta love the Valley. Was born and raised in the Peoples Republic (Santa Cruz-Akkk!) but escaped 24 years ago, LOL!
