My post #88 continued...

If, as some say, the BELIEVERS are already in Heaven now, at the Fathers side, what do we make of THESE Scriptures?

NIV Philippians 4:3
Yes, and I ask you, loyal yokefellow, help these women who have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.

In the passage above, as well as the other passages you quoted in this section of your post, it is the NAMES of the believers that are in the book of life, rather than the believers themselves:

NIV Philippians 4:3 - "...whose names are in the book of life."

NIV Revelation 3:5 - "I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but will acknowledge his name before my Father and his angels."

NIV Revelation 13:8-9 - "...all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world."

NIV Revelation 17:8 - "The inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because he once was, now is not, and yet will come."

And I'll give you another one:

KJV Luke 10:18-20:
18And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

19Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

20Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

To be continued....
