I am FURIOUS about the amnesty plan of Bush’s and the dems......the BORDER issue was given a fence, which now appears to be cut in half..........these two issues are really ONE issue and the front line on the WOT.

I am livid about THIS today. Just LIVID!

You can stick a fork in our so called conservative el presidente - he is done. He has betrayed his country.

Iraq is our weak point. If we don’t get it done right, they will follow us back here. Heck, they’re already here thanks to our stupid immigration laws. Yes, pulling our troops out prematurely will most certainly embolden these stone age youts.

We know that our government can’t be that stupid to know what/who we are really dealing with. Why they pussyfoot around the issues surrounding Islam, is beyond me. Do they want a full scale guerilla war fought on American soil?

I think Armageddon is here. My bf and I have read portions of the Apocalypse, and other books in the Bible. We’re trying to figure out whether the Islamics are descendants of Cain or Amalek. Evil walks the earth. Abortion is but a small part, as is failure to protect one’s citizens against foreign invasion. We are no longer a free people. Have we finally gotten the clue that we do not own our property? Do we realize that no matter who we vote for, our second amendment rights are no longer worth the paper the Constitution was written on?

Then there is the “freedom to travel”. At these gas prices? There’s a reason for it (Excuse me while I grab my tinfoil), and it isn’t a nice reason. For years, and I live in CA, the enviroweenies have howled and screamed about nuclear power, building new refineries, retrofitting older ones, and drilling off the coast for oil. Now they’re telling us it’s our fault for being dependent on foreign oil? Who are these people, and who is paying them? All this is doing is sucking away “discretionary income” from the pockets of the middle class(not to mention flat broke folks who drive beaters) and restricting movement. Why aren’t we buying oil from Iraq? Where exactly is that oil going?

My mom should have bought shares in tinfoil, because she was the queen of conspiracy theories, bless her heart and rest her soul. I find myself thinking about what she said about shadow governments, CFR, Bilderburgers, etc, and it’s actually making some sense. None of this crap I mentioned could possibly be caused accidently. There is a reason for the wholesale betrayal of America, and I guess a lot of people have sold their souls to ensure that it comes to pass.

Think I’d better get off my soapbox now, and grab some coffee :/

As I said before, this President has a lot on his plate.

So did every President before him. So will every President that follows him. He doesn't need to sign any "order to throw out each and every illegal immigrant alien" he is actively working to give each and every one of them citizenship. Whether they want it or not. He could have instructed the DoJ to enforce the laws on the books six years ago. And INS/ICE. He could be instructing the appropriate agency to get the border fence built which was signed into law and which Duncan Hunter said DOES have the funds appropriated for it in contradiction to what the WH has said about the funding. Two miles built so far. He is the only one holding that up. That is no accident.

Got any more excuses for him?

Yes, but I'm afraid that is what's going to happen. And even if we didn't embolden them, in this way, the world-wide push of Islam to take over the world, has entered its third phase in history, has been through two other such phases. It's going to be a long while before it goes away, once again.

We know that our government can’t be that stupid to know what/who we are really dealing with. Why they pussyfoot around the issues surrounding Islam, is beyond me. Do they want a full scale guerilla war fought on American soil?

And that's another thing that may very well happen (i.e., the guerilla war here). I mean, I keep expecting that "other shoe to drop" -- with bus bombings, restaurant and mall bombings and so on. The Israelis have had it, so it's not unreasonable to think the U.S. can very easily have it happen, too.

Well, in terms of Cain and Amalek. Everyone in the world, today, is squeezed through just one family line and that family line alone. That's Noah and his wife, who then had three sons (and they had their wives). So, we're all directly descended from just that one specific couple (Noah and his wife). And Noah didn't descend from Cain. So, I would think that would answer that.

As far as who the Islamics claim is their ancestor, they say it's Ishmael. And that also fits the prophecies in the Bible, too -- about Ishmael. So, I would put it on Ishmael.

In terms of Armageddon, that's something that happens in a specific place on the earth, in the Valley of Megiddo, located in Northern Israel, about 25 miles southwest of the Golan Heights. All the armies in the world are supposed to be gathered there, and then Jesus Christ puts an end to them at His return. That's at the end of the 7-year Tribulation and at the beginning of the 1,000 year reign of Jesus, the Messiah of Israel, upon this earth, doing so from Jerusalem.

The interesting thing here, is why they all gather together? Well, for one, it may have something to do with oil in Israel. I mean, there are indications in the Bible that Israel has vast oil reserves and that it's a rich nations at this time. At least rich enough that another nation (from the north) and an confederacy of nations wth it, come "to take a spoil" from Israel (militarily). But, today I look and don't see what's so valuable (at least in resources). Well, "oil in Israel" may be the answer to that. See Zion Oil (of Dallas, Texas), who is drilling now and has struck oil and expects more finds. See Zion Oil Vision Statement.

There are several ways to know if one is "inside" the Tribulation time (at various points along the way). For one thing, it's split up into two segments of exactly 42 months and 42 months (even down to the day of 1,260 days for the first half and 1,260 days for the second half).

At the very midpoint. the "two witnesses" (of Revelation) are killed, and they lay dead in the streets of Jerusalem for three days (untouched) and then everyone sees (probably via CNN, Fox News and others, maybe a few cel-phone videos...) them rising from the dead and being taken up into heaven. Well for one thing, if you haven't specifically seen that yet, you are not at the 1,260 day mark of the Tribulation yet. To me that appears to be a time of the calendar year, around Christmas time, or shortly before, which then places the beginning of the Tribulation to be around the mid-point of the calendar year (maybe May or June or July).

And also at that midpoint, the Antichrist stands in the Holy Place in the Temple of God and declares himself to be the very god of gods, making that proclamation to the world. Well, if you don't see a Jewish Temple in Jerusalem yet, with the Holy Place in it (i.e., the Holy of Holies), you definitely have not passed the midpoint of the Tribulation yet. In fact, it would be a pretty good bet for the Temple to be there at the mid-point time, it must have some time to actually be constructed first, and I would allow two or three years for that to happen. Thus, if you don't see a Temple, you are probably about three years away from the "mid-point" of the Tribulation (because of the needed construction time of the Temple).

Also, the "two witnesses" will be "testifying" to the whole world in the first half of the Tribulation, prior to the time that they are killed. If you don't see two witnesses in Jerusalem that the whole world is aware of and that they cannot be harmed and if anyone tries to kill them, that the perpetrators are killed themselves in the same fashion as they try to kill the witnesses -- if you don't see that, then you're basically not in the first half of the Tribulation time.

Furthermore, if you don't see an absolutely identifiable "Antichrist" who is a world-ruler and has taken over world-wide power and who is the one who enforces a 7-year treaty which bring cessation to the hostilities in Israel and brings about peace to the region -- if you don't see that person and that world leader and that 7-year peace agreement, then you haven't even "hit" the beginning of the Tribulation yet. You're not even in the first 42 months or 1,260 days yet. That's what kicks it all off -- that treaty (which brings "peace" -- at least for a while).

And one more thing..., if you haven't seen the disappearance of millions of people world-wide (which is what the Bible calls the Rapture), you also haven't even begun the Tribulation time. It's this, plus the signed peace treaty that kicks it all off.

So, I see none of this yet, therefore, we're definitely not in the Tribulation time. And besides..., I'm still here..., so we're not, on that count either.

However, the actual start of it, could be as soon as this afternoon or tomorrow -- or -- next year or a couple of years from now. We don't know that for sure. What we do know is that all the pieces of the puzzle are there and in place and ready to "move" at any instant.

Well, you mention all those other "players" and they're actually "bit players" because they don't control anything. Maybe some of them scheme and plot, but they don't have control over the situation and when things are going to happen. God does and then He grants Satan the ability to "move and act" at the appointed time. At that time, then it's in Satan's control to bring all things together. God then brings judgement down upon the earth from the midpoint of the Tribulation (after the declaration of the Antichrist in the Temple) on up to the end, up to the ponit of return of Jesus Christ to this earth. That's when He sets up His earthly Kingdom, and He becomes the new and permanent world-wide ruler at that point.

Think I’d better get off my soapbox now, and grab some coffee :/

LOL...

Star Traveler

Exactly. That was my point. This is NOT the time to abandon ship. Never is, though it seems a lot of people need to be reminded of that.

Trite though it may be, the saying “Quitters never win” does come to mind.

1, 3, and 2 in that order.

Don't know if you could call the war a "betrayal," though some of the mismanagement could fall into that category.

There's also Katrina, not exactly a betrayal, but one of the straws that broke the camel's back.

If it were just the spending and deficits, voters would complain but put up with it.

“Quitters never win”

Exactly! So why give in and let the dims walk all over us by not voting? Just the thought of a dim in the White House is enough to make me NOT give up my vote and! I hope the rest of the Party realizes what a foolish waste that would be.

mickie: Why didn’t Bush groom a VP to run for president? Seems like he is more than willing to hand the job over to hillary.
NeoCaveman : It wouldn’t be the first time a Bush handed the presidency over to a Clinton.
***Ouch. That’s gonna leave a mark. I had posted several months ago that GWB should ask Cheney to resign due to reasons of ill health and then whomever he appoints would be the heir apparent (hoping that Duncan Hunter would get the nod). Now I’m not so sure Bush would lean in that direction — he might have chosen someone like McCain.

"The biggest threat will be John Edwards."

I think that if hillary had a lock on the nomination that would trigger Big Al to enter the race.
Gore would never sit still for a hillary presidency.

“The War” should be: Failure to win the war of public opinion re: The War.

I'm sure you know as well as I that we are fighting Al Qaeda in Iraq.

If we know this, then their is no excuse for the public not to know this.
