Demographics is destiny. The Duggars of the world have a future. The Morfords of the world will be remembered, if at all, as scraps of newsprint and URLs to be found a hundred years from now only by Duggars, not by Morfords.

My Irish Grandmother, had an older sister who had 20 kids, and they all vote Liberal in Canukistan, I think that most of my generation only had a couple of kids.

I think big families are great. I met one blended family where the father had 10 kids before his wife died of cancer and he married a woman with 10 of her own. RATs hate these people, I think, because they hate, in general, the concepts of responsibility, faithfulness and dedication to family.

This "author???" obviously didn't do any research on the family, because everything he said is an obvious fabrication. If he did do any research, then he's just an outright liar about this family. Doing an obvious hit piece on them because they don't embrace or emulate the values (or lack of) that he (someone writing for the SanFagsisco Chronicle) holds dearly (to his a$$)
I've watched a number of shows on Discovery Channel on this family. They are very inspiring.
I imagine that Jim Bob and Michelle get many letters from parents trying to arrange things between their kids, trying to set up their kids with the Duggar kids.
I bet the older kids, at least the oldest boy, get a lot of fan mail.
There are many parents of daughters praying for a man like this for their daughter.

i saw a special on the Duggars,it was very interesting.i admire them because they take care of their own & dont rely on state welfare,if they dont have the money to buy

I had a friend in the military whose wife delivered four kids in three years. She keened how nice it would be to have a period again.
As to having sixteen kids, if they can afford it, it’s no one’s business but the family’s.
The Dugger’s are expecting their 17th child in July, I think it is.
These children are extremely well cared for. Live in a great house, go on trips and are well educated. They actually have respect for their parents, and behave themselves.
If they want to have a hundred children, it is their business as long as they take care of them.
Imagine the author writting such hate filled ivective about a family with 16 kids that were BLACK Christians, or Arab Muslims, or Indian Hindus, or chinese. His job longevity would be measureed in minutes. But WHITE Christieans are fair game.
