Hi Meg, pretty quiet day here. I just got home.
I Can almost smell the beautiful fragrance.
Very realistic looking.
Have a Blessed weekend!
Beautiful cardinals, MEG! The first and only time I have ever seen a cardinal is when we were back sightseeing in Charleston, SC a couple years ago. As I am sure you know, they don’t live in California, and even though I spent many years growing up in the DC/Virginia/Maryland area, I don’t recall ever seeing this bird there. Do you see them around your area in Texas?
I just had a nap..LOL I should have gone back to sleep but a fox was feeding on the patio..so I got up to watch.
I have cardinals here at my birdfeeder and patio regularly..I have a mom and poppa right now..I usually get juvenile cardinals later on..Their nest is somewhere far out in the woods behind my house.
I loved your Fresno FReep collage.
Oh, I am so envious of your wildlife! And I just don't understand why we don't have cardinals out here.....and fireflies. I really miss the fireflies of summer. :-(
This is my best house ever for wildlife..I swear I heard a turkey gobble early yesterday morning..My neighbor told me the foxes had gotten the wild turkeys..I haven’t seen one since I returned to my house last June..They may be back!
I don’t have Orioles here and did in California. I do miss birdwatching at Goleta beach. The plus here is that I can watch all this right here by my computer..A raccoon just came to feed.
Just go outside and "Flick a Bic." :)
Yes, I suppose we have birds here that you don't have, but none as colorful as the cardinal. The jays are a very pretty bright blue. The one I have been feeding since he was a fledgling has become so tame that he will take peanuts out of my hand now.
The plus here is that I can watch all this right here by my computer..A raccoon just came to feed.
Awwwww. Do you put food out for them? What is the raccoon and fox feeding on?
That poem always makes me smile. :-)
I ususlly put out sunflower seeds and cracked corn..I put out cat food in case the momma fox came back..The raccoon just ate it all..LOL
Hmmmmm..........the early bird gets the worm.....so to speak. LOL
I am heading off to bed. Good night you two night owls.
;0)
I snagged that from you awhile ago..I haven’t used it but click on it now and then ‘cause it makes me smile.
Sweet dreams, MB.
Good for you. I snagged (stole, borrowed, moved) it as well. :)
G'night Ladies.

READ: 1 Peter 1:3-12
They . . . preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaventhings which angels desire to look into. 1 Peter 1:12
Have you ever watched people at a tourist spot? At places like the Coliseum in Rome, the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, or the Grand Canyon in Arizona, visitors strain their necks to get a better view. Some call this rubbernecking, which means to observe with curiosity.
The Bible tells us that such fascination also goes on in the heavenly places. The apostle Peter pulls back the curtain of heaven to let us see angels gazing at Gods plan of redemptionthings which angels desire to look into (1 Peter 1:12). The Greek word translated look into means to stoop and look at carefully with curiosity.
But why are angels so fascinated by mans salvation? The most likely explanation is that they are amazed at the astonishing way God solved the problem of sin (Eph. 3:8-12). The cross was the means by which God provided His Son as the righteous substitute to pay the penalty for sin while upholding His holy standard (Rom. 3:19-31). God now provides redemption to any human being who will repent, believe, and receive it.
Are you thankful for your salvation? The angels are! They rejoice every time a sinner repents and puts his faith in Christ (Luke 15:10).
Lovely roses!
Amazing Grace!
Good Morning, Mayor..Thank you for our Daily Bread
