Duncan Hunter highlights at New Hampshire GOP Debate
..ok, here we go...
..a big DH PING...
We need to start getting behind Hunter rather than entertaining whackjobs like Tancredo and RuPaul.
..there are protest candidates, then there is the real deal—DH is the real deal with the right stuff IMO...
Applauding a good man and thank him and his family for their service to our Country! He is what Republicans stand for a true American Patriot.
He is the REAL DEAL not ACTING like one.
Now, more than ever, he's the one for me!
Trying to pull the political debate down into the gutter with you? Duncan Hunter doesn’t need attacks on others to add to his credentials.
What a great compilation from this debate. “The Kennedy Republicans”...priceless!
“The Kennedy wing of the Republican Party”
Priceless!
Hunter ping!
Kudos to WalterSkinner for another fast compilation job.
OMG!!! If Duncan Hunter had the face time, he would be so far ahead of the pack nobody could catch him. He is the real deal as far as I’m concerned. You know the GOP and RNC is corrupt by not pushing him to the forefront. We the real conservatives have some work to do but it will be worth it to have Duncan Hunter in the White House.
..the only other candidate that I have believed this strongly about was Ronald Reagan...
Thanks! I just emailed the link to five people. :)
I grow tired of those who say “Bush is no conservative....go Rudy” or gripe about immigration but don’t care about the border fence that is already law yet still don’t support the ONLY conservative in the race.
I didn’t see Fred on stage last night kicking ass and taking names....instead I saw him with a patty-cake softball interview with Sean Hannity.
EXCELLENT work!
..thanks, we do what we can...
Just calling as I see them - Tancredo and Paul are just sideshows for liberal consumption.
Lightning rods tend to take the most lightning strikes, I’ve noticed. They are well worth having them around.
This is great. Thank you. We need Duncan Hunter as our next President because he can scare our enemies at home and abroad.
I hear Fred Thompson doesn’t like to campaign. How convenient of him to live off all this hype and avoid the reality. And, as you say, ‘softball’ interviews. He needs to be seen in action, debating, campaigning but he continues to play these games. He’s not showing leadership and he never was a leader in the Senate and if not for his being an ‘actor’ he would not be on anyone’s list of those we want to LEAD the party and nation. I think this Fred mania resembles George Allen a great deal and I don’t think Fred is a reliable conservative.
Any respect that I might have had for Fred Thompson evaporated last night.
While the ten candidates were on the stage taking tough questions and for the most part giving good answers, Fred was getting the softball treatment on Hannity and Colmes.
I’m sick of the stupid little games that he’s been playing.
If he wants to be president, he needs to man up and start actually campaigning. Then we will see if he is truly presidential material.
“..there are protest candidates, then there is the real dealDH is the real deal with the right stuff IMO...”
Well said.
>OMG!!! If Duncan Hunter had the face time, he would be so far ahead of the pack nobody could catch him. He is the real deal...<
Exactly what I’ve been saying for months now. Duncan Hunter belongs to no one. He is not a multi-millionaire like some. If we want him we have to help him. If all his verbal supporters would become financial supporters, he could afford to buy some air time, and then check books all over the country would open up for him!
I believe that God has this man in this place at this time for a definite reason. So please, fellow Americans, go to:
http://www.gohunter08.com and please be generous.
Thank you.

I have just started watching Hunter and I like what I see.
>I’m sick of the stupid little games that he’s (FDT) been playing.<
FDT has never done anything to qualify him for the highest office in the land. I don’t like his elitist “tude”. I don’t like his annoying down home intonations. I don’t trust his globalism mindset. I think he looks like dead man walking.
So where is all the hype coming from? The Reality Show, The Bachelor, Trading Wives and Inside Edition gang. The very leftist MSM showcasing FDT on nearly a daily basis is enough, in and of itself, to turn a thinking person off.
Even if I was not committed to a candidate, the above would be my opinion.
Yup. That’s what gave me my new tagline
HEADS UP!
2008 CAMPAIGN GOP New Hampshire Dinner
Republican Presidential candidates attend tonight’s GOP Dinner in Manchester, New Hampshire. Fmr. Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney, Fmr. VA. Gov. James Gilmore, Sen. Sam Brownback (KS), Fmr. HSS Sec. Tommy Thompson, Rep. Tom Tancredo (CO) and Rep. Duncan Hunter (CA) are expected to attend.
That was a great line! The Kennedy Wing of the Republican Party.
Hunter was wonderful in the debate. I just wish he had been given more time. He is still my choice, but I have one criticism. He needs to smile a little and crack a joke once in a while. Not for me but for the general public; most people have to feel that a candidate is likeable. I have to say that Huckabee came off the best in that regard.
Duncan got big laughs when he said “not that scraggly little fence you show on CNN, Wolf....if they make it over my double fence we immediately sign them up for the olympics!”
Here are the changes from Intrade. It looks like basically, no change for most, Huckabee up slightly and Fred Thompson (who wasn’t even there) also up, the loser is Ron Paul.

“not that scraggly little fence you show on CNN, Wolf....if they make it over my double fence we immediately sign them up for the olympics!’
lol
Face it, you cannot trust the lame-stream enemedia to cover him....he’s already stepping on their toes:
http://www.newsmax.com/archives/ic/2006/10/22/225516.shtml
I was suprised Wolfie called on Duncan at all.
Hunter is impressive. I love how he just straight talks and doesn’t hesitate, he has a plan for everything, while all the others just shoot out GOP talking points.
Hunter knows his stuff, and is great on border security and defense.
He reminds me of a focused coach who cuts through the BS and says, “Here’s the problem, and here’s what we are going to do about it.”
Thompson/Hunter or Hunter/Thompson would be great for me.
..he’s sounding and looking better all the time IMO...
Thanks! More luck to Duncan Hunter. The last John Wayne in politics.
Yup I agree, oh and add me to the DH ping list, I was on it at one time, but then I stopped getting pinged out of the blue.
..I will forward this to the excellent Antoninus, keeper of The List...
Thanks :)
Duncan got big laughs when he said not that scraggly little fence you show on CNN, Wolf....if they make it over my double fence we immediately sign them up for the olympics!

You’re right! That was a great line. I was cheering.
