Does this idiot not realize that the present condition is a symptom of an intractable situation that has lasted for more than a thousand years between the descendants of bedouin bestialists and the people of Abraham? The bestialists don’t need a reason to hate jews, it’s genetic.

This nascent occupation compounded and intensified not only the plight of the Palestinian refugees but set the stage for almost every crisis in this region. The only reason the Palestinians are still refugees is because Arabs want them to be justification to kill Jews.
To: SJackson
...provides an alternative to mainstream Jewish groups that present uncritical Jewish support for the state of Israel. Why look for an alternative?
If the Palestinians can't garner real support from their "hundred million, plus" supposed allies in the region, why should I care?
Maybe all those other Mohammedens know something about the Palestinians that we don't.
To: SJackson
until a just solution to the oppression of Palestinians is found, there will be neither real security for Israel, peace in the Middle East, nor geo-strategic stability for the United States. Many continue to believe the fantasy that if Israel would simply leave the W. Bank and Gaza, give the Palies their precious "right of return", and hand Syria the Golan Heights the longstanding instability in the region would magically vanish and Arab and Jew would sing Kumbaya and Hava Nagila in brotherly love. And of course the U.S. would cease to be targeted by jihadists. Most are in unfathomable denial.
But many others who've been advocating that Israel give away the store know full well the consequences of such actions -- the inevitable destruction of Israel. ....presicely what they've always wanted.

The Six Day War of 1967 prevented a second Holocaust. There will be no peace between the Arabs and the Jews. The price of Israeli existence is continual war. This is not the fault of the Jew’s winning the 1948 war, the 1967 war or any of the other conflicts.

I got only as far as, “According to Noam Chomsky...” and that was all I could take.
Quoting Noam Chomsky is about as low as any journalist can get.

The anti-semitic, post-Zionist Jewish Left blames Israel for 40 years of being under siege when the truth is the exact opposite. Its the Arabs that have rejected peace with the Jewish State. If it wasn't for the extremism and violence on the Palestinian side, there would already be peace. And since the Palestinians can't even live in peace with each other, it kind of begs the question to suppose they could ever live in peace with Israel. Israel owes no one an apology for the results of the 1967 Six Day War.

How can the Israelis “occupy” territory which has for millenia been a part of Israel? “Liberate” would be a more accurate term. God gave the land of Israel to the Jews, in an eternal covenant. It was the Muslim Palestinians who were occupiers of the rightful lands of the Israelis.

Anyone who quotes Noam Chomsky as a source of information pretty much says who this knucklehead is, and what his/her motivations happen to be. So let me fix this...

Looking back on 1967, the biggest mistake that Israel made was not immediately telling the UN to go screw themselves, that they were attacked by ALL of their so called neighbors, and that the land was now a part of Israel proper, and if they didn't like it, they could go pound sand!
As far as I'm concerned, when one country attacks another, and then LOSES LAND, it's too late for them to cry "mulligan!" and get their losses back!

Yup. It’s all the fault of the dastardly Israelis. There would have been no conflicts if the stupid jews had simply allowed themselves to be eradicated in 1948, or 1967, no wait, 1973.

According to Noam Chomsky, Israel has become a de facto offshore U.S. military base.
Noam Chomsky. Now there's somebody worth quoting.
When the next group of Nazis stoke up the next batch of ovens Noam Chomsky will be right there, running up and down the line of naked and starving Jews, assuring them that they are just going to be given a nice shower.
