If anyone deserves a Hero’s welcome, it is President George W. Bush, a man who not only has lead in protecting America’s freedoms, but elsewhere.

The liberal press has never waited in a “bread line”, gone to the grocery store, only to see empty shelves or had gifts confiscated and stolen by their government that were sent to them in the mail by American relatives. Oh yeah, communism’s great./s

Ya gotta love those Eastern Europeans. They are the only people who ever forgave America for rescuing them.

While America was a big help, Eastern Europeans were the ones who ended up rescuing themselves.

‘NBC CORRESPONDENT KELLY O’DONNELL: We’ve seen the president get a warm, sometimes over-the-top reaction here in Eastern Europe where countries send troops to Iraq and also generally back the president. So he may not be all that anxious to get back to Washington.”’

Kelly O’Donell doesn’t have much credibility with me. Everytime I hear her, I can’t help but think she gained and has kept her job due to her physical attributes.

The rat’s and the DBM’s hatred for the president is so pathetic, it’s unbelievable

actually given the mess the area has been in due to misguided post cold war doctrine, the warm reception seems more suspect than anything else.

The who kosovo situation with US administrations doing a bipartisan permission for christian genocide is where the “over the top” comments should be directed.

http://www.savekosovo.org

once again the DBM is distracted from the real meat of the story by BDS.

BJ clinton never got that type of reception in Europe, ever?? He had to cancel his trip to Rome because of huge protests. Must be killing PravdABDNC to see our beloved President receive this type of welcome, not to mention much of FR.

That is the difference between Billy Jeff and the president. President Bush is not afraid to go were he knows people will protest him, as there were lots of protests in Poland, Germany and Italy. Billy Jeff on the other side is afraid to face the negative. This is not leadership. President Bush shows leadership

...they would instead be asking, "why do these people care so much?"

Or better yet, "Why don't they hate us?"

Yes, but wasn’t Clinton “over the top” re Kosovo? IMHO, misguided, failed policy which has never been corrected.

Are you perhaps thinking of Norah O'Donell?

Norah is a San Antonio babe of left leanings but
Kelly O’ Donnell has ankles bigger than Nora’s waist.

gastly comes to mind.

I assume the man in the dark suit (picture #3) with the nasty expression and wire behind his ear is a Secret Service agent.

I firmly believe that anyone who could criticize the way the crowds responded to the president is simply jealous that he and his policies could be so happily received.

It’s one thing (very American too, unfortunately) to criticize the president. It’s quite another to trash the crowds who pour out their love and admiration for him.

The critics should try living with their families in a country where the Communists rode roughshod over their heads for some decades, then get liberated, and see how gushy THEY might be at the sight of an honorable American president working tirelessly for liberty to spread through the world. There’s nothing like persecution to knock the stupid and inane out of people.
