Looks like only the flag-waving members of Uncle Ted's "base" are getting behind this one...

If the Democracy Corps poll is that bad, wonder what an accurate poll would reflect?

And the Republicans are 84 to 85% against it. Watch the fallout if they pass this fiasco amnesty bill.

Exactly...you’ve gotta know they’re looking to spin the best possible result.
It was also interesting that concern was expressed over “stopping illegal immigrants from getting government benefits”...when you add up the price tag of legalizing the illegals AND their families, that’s a lot of paid health care at a time when many working American men and women do not have a health care provider (I’m one of them).

No amnesty for incumbents AND illegals!

Yeah, they should try taking such a poll somewhere other than in a Mexican barrio. It might then actually show the TRUTH about how REAL AMERICANS feel about this horrid piece of amnesty legislation. And we know what the truth really is.

Uncle Ted’s base are the ones that understand how importing a new victim class will perpetuate leftist/socialist Democrat power.
The rest are getting tired of pushing 1 for English.

Average hard-working Americans, even Dims, don’t want this bill.
Keep on the pressure! Even Dim legislators can be turned... if Barbara Boxer can oppose this bill, then it is possible.

It’s less than that who are for this treason. The average Dem stooge knows that they have what they want already... open borders.

I think that Greenberg and Carville want to warn their pals about the seriousness of this matter, therefore they made a real effort to get it right.

Of course, if one is going to clip two flags to one poll, one should at least make sure the US flag is on it’s own right.

We may end up thanking Teddy and W. This just may be what mobilizes this country to finally take it back. Maybe this is what that evil genius Karl Rove was thinking about (I doubt it).

Has anyone seen the exact wording of the poll? I suspect that it was the most surgar-coated, pro-passage interpretation they could come up with, and that could only get 47% support from the Dems. If the Republicans get a spine and fight against this it could be a huge boon for them in 2008. And if I shot gold coins out of my butt I could be a slot machine.
