If I had my way, I would put him in an "Old Sparky" electric chair such as Florida's

Sorry to break the news, but Florida has retired "Old Sparky" in favor of the needle, although not until he fried Ted Bundy!

The real crime here was the press...

Precisely my point.

I’m well aware of Old Sparky being retired, but I would want to bring it out of retirement for this very special POS murderer.

NBC reported a girlfriend of Cutts was arrested tonight, accused of helping Cutts cover-up Jessie’s murder. The cops carried away bleach, duct tape, plastic bags and three cell phones from her residence.

We know bleach was found at Jessie’s house in an attempt to destroy DNA. Apparently they also duct-taped her and put her in plastic bags before burying her in a shallow grave at the park.

Could be one of the cell phones found was Jessie’s.

The crime gets more morbid as the days go by.

Thinking of little Blake saying Jessie was crying as they took her away, tears your heart out.

The problem with the press in the Duke case was they FAILED TO DO ANY INVESTIGATIVE REPORTING!! This is the exact opposite of the Ohio case, where the press is being kept in the dark to preserve the case. In the Duke case, there was no “case” to preserve, but rather a “non case” because of racial pressures from the Durham community.

Actually, we don't know yet HOW she was murdered. In accidental deaths, they are reported. Ambulances are dispatched, and the witnesses don't haul the bodies 60 miles away and bury them in shallow graves. Get real.

Wanna bet???

A MAN is to appear in court charged with dumping a girl's body to cover up her death.

Dana Minty, 17, was found in the stairwell of an Aberdeen block of flats. She had died of a drug overdose.

link to one example article of just that

I’m not going to argue the merits of whether Bobby Cutts is a murderer or not. He is guilty and will be proven so in a court of law. He is entitled to a fair trial, but that is all. When the proof is revealed, he will be a dead man walking.

If the press is being kept in the dark then were is everyone getting their facts from? How are they concluding who did it?

I agree with you. But, he won't get a trial if the press convicts him before the facts are in. A good lawyer can use the excuse of "no impartial jury can be found" or some other hogwash like that.

I don’t see how the press convicts him if they aren’t getting any facts. The local sheriff apparently leaked some valuable info and now the law enforcment and DA are scrambling to cover themselves.

I don't see how anyone here has enough facts to convict him either. So far all we have is an arrest, and that's all. As in the Duke case, an arrest doesn't neccessarily mean guilt.

I read that he is charged with a double homicide.

I guess you didn’t read the reports from the two radio stations and two newspapers in Ohio yesterday. I am basing my feeling on what they released, citing the local sheriff.

Media reports tend to be wildly inaccurate in the early stages of any such incident. One has to take them with a grain of salt.

The facts will eventually make their way into daylight, and when they do I suspect they will point to this guy's guilt (and possible others' too). My only point is the fact that one can't be 100% certain of anything until the facts are out.

I cannot imagine how 4 separate news organizations had the same quote from the sheriff, and even Fox News denied that it was corroborated. Then everything was proven accurate an hour or two later on Fox. Believe what you want. I say the guy is guilty as sin. Fry him.

Un-corroborated stories are generally LESS trustworthy than corraborated ones, at least in my book they are.

Read a bit further. Fox News first said it was uncorroborated, then an hour or two later it was proven accurate (thus corroborated).

“”””As in the Duke case, an arrest doesn’t neccessarily mean guilt.””””

You are right that no-one should “rush to judgement”.

In the Duke case - there was no rape!

In this case - there is a dead body!

That’s exactly what I was thinking.
