Inside officers discovered a “significant quantity” of petrol, nails and gas cylinders. They used a remote-controlled device to check the vehicle before bomb squad officers made it safe.

If the bomb had exploded, police said that the shrapnel would have killed or injured anyone within a wide area. The bomb itself could have caused a fireball as big as a house followed by a large shock wave.

We need to make sure that when attacks like this are thwarted we make heroes out of those who stopped them. Brave efforts such as these are intentionally not mentioned in the MSM because it would show that we are making huge improvements in fighting terrorism and that doesn't fit with their game plan. If the attack had been carried out we would have heard about it for months. To me it is far bigger news that we prevented the loss of hundreds of civilians (call me crazy). Everyone knows about all the scewups that allowed 9/11 to happen and is quick to point fingers but can anyone detail how the London plane bombings were prevented and who the heroes were?

If you take two of these bulleted items and combine them:

1. One witness said the car was seen being driven “erratically” before it collided with some bins or bin bags on the pavement

2. There was so much petrol in the vehicle that the highly flammable vapour it gave off is believed to have looked like smoke.

The driver must have been totally gassed (excuse the pun) which accounts for the “minor accident.”

Hmmm. Britain has let in less than 1m muslims in the last 50 years and including second and third generation muslims born here now has around 1.7m muslims. Muslim immigration is declining sharply. Catholicism is our fastest growing religion.

The US has open borders, somewhere between 5 and 20 million muslims depending on who’s guessing, it’s your fastest growing religion and your muslim immigration is sharply rising.

When is America going to ‘get it’ before it’s too late?
