That was the silver bullet yesterday. Stay gone, Dianne, maybe a cross would help.
This is the offical PR. Hey, "Washington advocate", I'm happy about it.

"... without new immigration legislation, the situation will get worse in the United States regarding what to do with the countrys estimated 12 million undocumented immigrants." Secure the border...enforce the law. (there, we don't need congress, I figured it out!!!)

Now is not the time to let up. We need to pressure our politicians to enforce the existing immigration laws including deporting illegal aliens, building the fence and prosecuting businesses who do business with illegal aliens. The link below is a ping list to pay attention for other questionable legislation being considered in Congress.

Both the bills supporters and opponents in Congress said the legislation was "dead" for the remainder of the Bush administration, which ends in January 2009.
Thanks to everyone who showed up last November, else it would have passed. Thanks also to our politically saavy President for taking the blame for this from the anti-Bush crowd.

President Bush, U.S. congressional leaders and immigration advocacy groups are lamenting the defeat of legislation that would have made the biggest changes in U.S. immigration law in more than 20 years.

The answer is so easy. ENFORCE THE LAWS ON THE BOOKS.

The political elitists of the Beltway got a wakeup call. They really made a huge political mistake trying to jam that pile of excrement down the throat of the American citizen. Their slack is gone, they are being watched under a microscope now, and they hopefully NOW REMEMBER who they work for, who put them in Washington AND WHY, and who pays their paycheck. THE AMERICAN CITIZEN. Such a huge mistake they made. They showed us what they are will to do TO US, for their own political purposes.
Alot of bridges went up in smoke...

I just called the Republican National Committee and left a message on the “general comments” line saying that as a Party, we should stand for law and order.
RNC - 202-863-8500
And if Senator Mel Martinez is not in favor of enforcement of our present immigration and deportation laws, he should resign.
We must build the border fence, which has already been passed into law and has already been funded.
Mel Martinez is out of step with our party.

Been saying this for months, the Republican candidate (Fred, Mitt, or Rudy) that seizes the Border Issue as their own will be the next President. What I mean is they really sell it like Ike used “I will go to Korea” in 1952.
