Let's see, who's the xenophobe, here? (Fr Filled his mailbox)
HERALD NEWS ^ | Sunday, July 8, 2007 | ROGER HERNANDEZ

Posted on 07/09/2007 9:49:31 AM PDT by #1CTYankee

Been getting a ton of mail about my column of last week. My main point: "All the posturing about illegal immigrants is really an attack aimed at everybody whose name ends in 'ez.'"

Snip....

What really caught my attention was his link to a forum at FreeRepublic.com where my column was being, umm, discussed.

One posting had the same bandito featured on Ralph's Mexifornia license (turns out it's the actor Alfonso Bedoya in "The Treasure of Sierra Madre") and said: "Borders? Borders? We don' need no steenking borders. We don't need no steekin' Roger Hernandez neither!"

If everybody agrees they can embargo the issue. Doesn’t cost them except in congressional approval ratings.

But for some reason this monster just won't stay dead.

Roger that, hernandez. You would be the only dissembler/enabler here worth discussing.

This guy just is humorless, he’s lucky we are still laughing while hordes of border breeching illegals are sucking the life out of the US citizens, many citizens who have been welcomed here and respect our laws.

Poor Wogey, he needs to stiffen his upper lip. LOL

INDEED, the MAIN source of this problem and its particular character has SOLELY to do with our elected reps and our Agencies, which have ALLOWED things to happen here that NO OTHER COUNTRY ON EARTH WOULD ALLOW TO HAPPEN. So that results in lots of Hernandezes, like this guy, and “Juan” former “advisor” to Vicente Fox, who comes on Fox news and talks to O’Reilly and Hannity, spinning like nobody’s business, all smiles all the time, and ready with an “argument” that is all BS, all one sided, and ASSUMES from the outset (correctly) that the USA OWES the WORLD to WHOMEVER chooses to invade it. THAT IS THEIR ASSUMPTION AND NOBODY IS STRONG OR PRINCIPLED ENOUGH TO CHALLENGE IT.

The rats have a problem there because as much as they’d love to appear hawkish on the illegals to steal republican votes, they can’t go too far or they alienate (no pun intended) their sheehan-moonbats.

That’s the beauty of this as a wedge issue: The Dims don’t have to do anything in the way of taking a side on illegal immigration...they can sit back and let the media do their dirty work, pitching the Pubbies at each other, and then claim to be faithful to whoever’s in the same room with them. SOP for the Dims.

You gotta keep in mind that Hernandez and his ilk are stabbing the USA in the back.

After he and his family were given refuge here, he doesn’t mind destroying his adopted country to bring his “race” in, ILLEGALLY!

He doesn’t give a damn about illegals from other countries; he only cares about names mostly ending in an “ez”.

Now are you not a racist Mr. Hernandez?

We’re not xenophobes; YOU are an Ameri-phobe!

Oh yes, don’t give me the [sic] treatment about the last word; I just invented it!

I totally agree with your post. Unfortunately, Ameri-phobes abound. Anything to bring hard-working US citizens down.

People like Hernand-EZ, try to make a racial issue out of US citizens wanting protected borders and legal entry into our country.

We want the law respected and do not wish to support Mexican citizens. Since when was it the US taxpayers job to pay for the well being and family unity of another country's citizens?

Illegal entry is destroying US culture and creating a huge burden for US citizens. These people should be supported by those in their own country. A country that does nothing to help its own citizens other than to direct them to enter another country illegally for benefits.

We are tired of it and are expressing our outrage at the likes of a man who is so Ameri-phobic that he puts race as the top issue in this illegal debacle.

Absolutely, the only way for us to help the Mexican population is by tightening and enforcing our laws. When a wall is built, they can't come here and with employers' enforcement they'll leave and start a revolution in their own country.

If this doesn't happen, I'm afraid the revolution will be here, by Americans. A civil war ain't good for anybody even when we win it.

I think the racist is likely him. If the majority of the illegals were black, or Swedish, or anything other than Hispanic, he wouldn’t be so fond of them.

Now the problem is to get an unwilling government to enforce its own laws.

Obviously the hardest thing to do. Bush always like to talk about “hard work”. I suggest he needs to get to the hard work.

We’ll keep the pressure on: WHERE IS THE FENCE? WHERE IS THE APPROPRIATED MONEY GOING? HOW MANY MILES WERE FINISHED THIS MONTH? WHAT’S YOUR SCHEDULE FOR NEXT MONTH? I hope people catch on and bug the hell out of them.

BTW, I like your catchy tag. Chert off = Shirts off our backs, maybe.

I affectionately call him: Shitoff!!

Ooh! That’s not too affectionate. I don’t believe he cares too much for the average US citizen. He is more interested in the agenda.

All that time he was lobbying the Senate for pushing this bill, he could have been getting the fence built in order to PROTECT US citizens.

I no longer just refer to us as Americans. Our government considers everyone living on the continent of North America, Americans.

Hmm? Must be why Harry Reid refers to illegals as undocumented americans. Could also be why we were told that americans were for this immigration bill.

"he seems to take issue with his work being "discussed". Perhaps he should just go to a bar and mouth off at those in his immediate vicinity if he doesn't want other citizens to respond to his writings."

Excellent point, those who who think so highly of themselves and their "Enlightened views" are beyond reproach

I'm smart, your not, no discussion encouraged or permitted, you can see the condescending attitude. (Umm, discussed)
