Aides helping Rep. Ron Paul of Texas with his long-shot run for the Republican presidential nomination never thought they would need more than the corner of a one-bedroom apartment.
They were wrong. The campaign has outgrown its second headquarters, a 348-square-foot office.
Mr. Paul has more campaign cash available than former Republican front-runner Sen. John McCain of Arizona, Federal Election Commission records show, and the antiwar conservative has become an Internet sensation.

Many of Paul’s ideas regarding the Constitution are good...I think that’s where it ends though.
I feel the same way. There a lot of things I like about Ron Paul but I think the man is starting to lose his mind.
I think it’s less than great for Paul supporters to keep re-posting old stories to try to make it appear as if there were some sort of serious buzz about this kook.
Ron Paul and Tancedro were neck-and-neck with all "no" votes on all of the above.
Duncan Hunter voted for all of the above I believe.
I had yet to tally Fred T's votes or dig deeper for more budget busters like those listed here http://www.nationalreview.com/miller/miller200406020843.asp and here http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/budget/jan-june04/budget_02-27.html. someone else may want to complete the research.
Are we looking at another Ross Perot nightmare only this time it’s much much worse?
Some (like myself) like him for his support of the Constitution and small government. OTOH, because he doesn't think the war in Iraq is a good idea, many Paul-haters on FR stop just short of calling him the 20th hijacker.
348 sq ft? So basically they have gone from 3 to 4 cubicles.
MR. PAUL: The president ran on a program of a humble foreign policy, no nation-building, and no policing of the world. And he changed his tune, and now we are fighting a war, and our foreign operations around the world to maintain our empire is now approaching $1 trillion a year.
MR. BLITZER: Thank you.
MR. PAUL: Thats where the moneys going, and thats where it has to be cut so we can take care of education and medical cares that are needed here in this country. (Applause.)
That would be five(5) 10x8 cubicals.
No, that would be 400 sq ft, with no room for a water cooler. :-)
Is that in the part of the constitution that says that abortion is legal?
No, not that bad. I think the McCain analogy would be better.
Ron Paul is getting lots of faux support from liberals who want to wreck the GOP nomination of someone who can beat the democRATs.
I suppose that's putting it mildly. Have you seen what he said about upcoming staged terror attacks?
I guess ol' Ron missed a few things that happened since 2000. Like most Libertarians, he has a few good ideas but is otherwise a kook.
That’s just as bad as some freepers using quotes by Hillary supporters to bash Rudy (Btw I am not a Rudy backer in the primaries).
He's an isolationist nutbar who has since joined the "blame America first" crowd and just recently joined the MIHOP/LIHOP truthers crowd.
Complete barking moonbat.
