A Day in the Life of President Bush (photos): 7-18-07
WhiteHouse.gov & other sources ^ | 7-18-07

Posted on 07/18/2007 5:21:41 PM PDT by silent_jonny

This morning President Bush traveled to Landover, Maryland and toured Man And Machine Inc., a company that makes computer accessories for hospitals, medical laboratories, and industrial environments. Afterwards, the president joined a roundtable discussion of healthcare initiatives and how they should benefit the individual, not the government or insurance companies. (Transcript)

President Bush returned to the White House this afternoon and met with the Import Safety Group. (Transcript)

First Lady Laura Bush took part in the Cooper-Hewitt National Design Awards ceremony in the East Room of the White House. (Transcript)

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice met with senators on Capitol Hill after their “all-nighter”. LOL

And former President George H. W. Bush spoke at the National Constitution Hall in Philadelphia, where he donated his WWII service revolver.

Enjoy your visit to Sanity Island

That is what I need!

The flexible keyboard or the waterproof keyboard? :)

It is so nice to have a classy woman in the White House again. I cringe to think of Canckles residing there again.

Thank you, jonny ! Your captions of Condi and “Plugs” are hysterical... and right on the mark .. LOL. I wonder if those water-resistant keyboards could be used in military situations .. like the Navy.

Both! I know y’all will appreciate this little tale about our trip. When we got to the airport here there were lots of people with flags and signs to welcome some soldiers here. I talked with some Marines on the plane who were coming here for a few months of munition training. One told me that the Marines were the best but they had to come here for that kind of training. It just did my heart good to see those people. They were so young—18 and 19.

Howdy, there! Love the captions on your photos today, and yes, President Bush should've won the toaster!

Here's the style of keyboard I used for years at my last job. Looks wierd, but it was really, really comfortable. You can adjust the split and the tilt.
