This man is relying on prayer. Now, THAT’S funny. And keeping up a brave front for his mother. If he EVER thought of either God or his mother previous to this point, he most probably would not be in this mess he is in now. And he is in it, up to his chin and rising. And it looks good on him.
After he gets out of federal prison he might under an assumed identity play arena football in some jerkwater league if he is very lucky.

Do what you want, but I would only suggest that you think about the Duke/Richard Jewel cases before you post comments pronouncing his guilt and sentence him to death. Just a thought.
Yes, it is. And if you do a search including the words "football" and "dogfighting" you will find several articles that mention a subculture of this sort of thing, including dogfighting, in the NFL, i.e. the "gangsta" image. IMO it's disgusting.

Yesterday, I saw for the first time since this came out someone wearing a Vick jersey. Kid was probably 12-15. He had obviously worn it to school.
Last I heard, the Duke guys did not have an 18 page federal indictment against them, just a sleazy DA who was running for reelection.
Remember that the federal conviction rate is about 95%. Vick is guilty as sin.
A better analogy would be to the 2 fellas recently caught in CT after raping and murdering that family. Should we give them the benefit of the doubt too?

The NFL had better clean up its act vis-a-vis dogfighting lest another case come public.
The NFL is a multi-Billion dollar business, but a few more cases like this and people WILL be turning them off on Sundays.
Whether it is immigration or dogfighting, good people will only tolerate so much.
