‘People in Hell hope to get ice water.’
Yep, and even they are disgusted by what Vick has done.
Miami police are investigating NFL star Michael Vick after airport screeners yesterday seized a water bottle from him at a security checkpoint and later discovered that the bottle included a “concealed compartment” that appeared to contain a small amount of marijuana.

Nicole Ritchie will be starting for the Falcons before Michael Vick does.
I can see Al Davis picking him up... when this cools down. When that will be, I don't know.
Thank you.
Didn’t anyone ever learn from Stacy Keach’s shaving cream bottle problem of many years ago?
You don’t remember the incident when he was returning from Miami with some of his posse?
He had a water bottle that he was told to discard. He seemed very reluctant to do so and the attendent noticed. When she retrieved it, it was found to have a hidden compartment and smelled of pot. These things can be purchased commercially apparently from what I saw.
Cops got involved, Blank got involved. Suddenly no pot. Vick claimed he puts his jewely in it.
Something like that. Look it up; lots of news coverage and cost him the Air Trans sponsership.
That was beautiful enough for me to send as an e-mail to all of the “dog people” that I know. Thanks for posting!
Wow! Thanks for posting that and for the link. I love my dog! And that was one heck of a closing argument. I was not aware of that piece of great history! Thanks!
Dont count that out. Saw some guys on Orielly defending him cause he is black or thats how I percieved it. So like i told my wife when this came out..Its going turn into a race issue he will walk if we get another OJ jury..IMHO

Doggone he's a good one.
You really seem to be going over the top on this case. What is it exactly that has set you off?
arranging animals to fight is illegal and we as a society consider it immoral but many other societies don't - especially in asia. Are you saying no one in Asia is worthy to walk among civilized men and women?
That is a logical falacy. In any event, where do you get your numbers. I looked online to verify you 95% conviction rate and instead I saw that the the 2006 conviction rate for juries was 89% while the conviction rate for bench trials is 64%.
In any event, a federal conviction hardly equates guilt. Federal sentencing guidelines include enhancements that add to the sentence if a person pleads innocent but is then convicted. To many defendants, innocent or guilty, it is better just to take a plea deal and do 1/4 of the time.
Yet you leave out the part of the story where the cops seized the bottle and tested it for drug residue. None was found.
He lost his AirTran sponsorship mainly because he decided to skip a congressional meeting and he blamed AirTran.
I didn’t leave it out. The next sentence I said cops got involved, Blank got involved, suddenly no pot. The whole thing stunk to high heaven. My guess is that the residue was not enough quantity to trigger more than a misdemeanor and the whole thing was “smoothed over.”
In the final analysis whether he plays or not will all be based on M-O-N-E-Y.
Beating a federal rap not easy
About 95 percent of federal criminal defendants plead guilty. Of the remaining few who fight in court, nearly nine of 10 are convicted, according to national statistics.
