I think you’re wasting your ammo. After reading the reports here, I then read the transcript. Kristinn did great, and the only point O’Reilly made was there are some stupid posts here. Which is correct. But his target is Kos, and the convention.
He said today that Free Republic was NOTHING as crazy as Kos. All he is doing is setting Kos up to wack them as hard as he can. I say let him.
BO’s remarks about a “paid” moderator reveals clearly that he knows nothing about FR. There are thousands of threads with thousands of posted remarks. It would be impossible for one moderator to scan all of them, even in a day. The way Jim has it set up is the only possible way to moderate this site. I think we do a pretty good job of moderating ourselves via the abuse function.

It will attract their attention, it may even reach BOR ears, it won’t make the air, as it doesn’t promote his agenda, which is that the right also has ‘hate’ sites.
I’m not as pessimistic about this as a lot of freepers, mainly because I listened closely, and heard him carefully parse his words. He never said that FR was a hate site, but he did INFER that some posts are over the line.

Bill is also being very short sighted, this kind of stuff just PO’s the segment of the viewers that are a significant part of his audience support.
The part that irritates me is that Kristinn didn’t get that fairly defend something that is fully defensible, although I understand why.
I’m not going to stomp off as some here have done, vowing never to watch again, I’ll still watch. But it’s similar to finding out that someone is cheating you, things will never be the same.

Dodd really did take O'rielly to school. You could tell when Bill realized his empty headed, shallow attacks fell flat, because he then tried to fire up the drama with a shouting match. Then Dodd just laughed him off.
This has to be the worst week in the history of that show. O'rielly has made a total horse's ass out of himself. Horse's asses may indeed be more intelligent though, and I'm sure they sound better when they make noise.

Is that really true? I know I watch a LOT less FOXNews now (can't stand that brainless moron Colmes and his constant, shallow and rude interruptions). I still watch BOR almost daily, but it is no longer a must and my interest could chill with more stupid and outright disingenuous, Dan Blather type "research".

I used to watch Fox & Friends every morning, and some FOX stuff in prime time.
Dropped my cable in part because FOX was no longer holding my attention.
I've found that I don't miss them a whit.
