“all of the burned out hippiesin california have moved to
oregon.”
Not exactly accurate. In addition to Oregon, there are a fair number in the state of Washington, Colorado, and their offspring are still in California spouting the views that would convince the rest of America that they are not American. Simple minded rhetoric.

I thank God these nuts weren't around during WWII. Actually, they were around during WWII. The difference is that back then they had Uncle Joe Stalin telling them what to do. Pre Operation Barbarossa, they were against US involvement in WWII. Post Barbarossa, they were for it.

Today, there is no Stalin to lead them. Instead, they have adopted the de facto position that 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend'

When people get that far out of whack doesn’t the Fed send in the Guard? Oh that’s only for the southern people. I gotcha. They ought to be sending the Guard out to SF to protect the assault on free speech that’s going on there. I mean the locals are attempting to defy the Constitution. Where’s the defense of the Constitution?

Indeed. Could we pull together and help Cindy Sheehan run for President instead of just Pelosi’s senate seat ?
That would split them and be fun to watch the dem nominee try to deal with.

Even funnier is a Unitarian Church being united on a common goal or belief.
(Besides of course their unifying belief of “anything but Christ and the Bible”.)

Wyden "gets up every day trying to end the war," Kardon said. "But he can't change the law of physics." What does THAT mean?

I heard once that a Unitarian prayer begins with “To Whomever it may concern . . .”

I still doubt what she says... and I wonder if it is true... is she mentally ill or like sheehan in that she is actually divorced? What family, with three members serving, would tolerate her?

Her opinion probably has a lot of feeling behind it.
We certainly agree on that point. Unfortunately, if left unchecked, those feelings could turn into the precise kind of actions the terrorists are banking on.
There are many effective ways she can express her feelings that would honor her family. IMO, in this case, she has chosen poorly.
Thanks for correcting my spelling. I feel foolish for missing that one.

you can say all the junk you want to about Ron Wyden, but when I needed help with the VA to speed up a claim to keep me and my family off of the streets, he came through in a big way. You may not agree with his Politics(neither do I), but he is THERE when Vets need help.
