Karl Rove Says He Won't Help GOP Campaigns Try to Defeat Hillary Clinton

WASHINGTON White House political adviser Karl Rove offered another critique on Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton on Sunday, saying voters' strong negative opinions about her will be difficult to overcome.
"She enters the general election campaign with the highest negatives of any candidate in the history of the Gallup poll," the outgoing Bush aide said on NBC's "Meet the Press."
"It just says people have made an opinion about her. It's hard to change opinions once you've been a high-profile person in the public eye, as she has for 16 or 17 years."
Asked if there was a desire by the GOP for Clinton to be the Democratic nominee, he ducked the question.
"It's going to be what it's going to be. The Democrats are going to choose the Democratic nominee and the Republicans are going to choose the Republican nominee," he said.

Thank you for your Prayers for our Nation. God has always had mercy on America to this point. May God's mercy of US continue, FRiend. I shall continue my Prayer of such, will you join me, in saying a Prayer now?
Our Father, who art in heaven....
That election was sabotaged by Perot, right? I fell for it and essentially voted for Clinton.
The Republican campaign was uninspired, lackluster, and disinterested.
One thing the republicans CAN and SHOULD do is point out how Capital Hill politicians have cause gridlock and partisanship in Washington since the Bill CLinton presidency. It’s time to elect someone outside the beltway political spectrum. That effectively points the finger at Obama, Hillary, Edwards, etc - all the Dem candidates. So, no matter WHO wins the Republican primary, he can run on the “I’m not an insider politician” strategery...
” This is an AP (All Phoney) headline folks, dont waste a lot of time analyzing it. I saw the interview; only a lefty, partisan urinalist would write it.”
All they want is air-cover to somehow imply that he said he wouldn’t do it, and now he is, regardless of the form this takes.
To them it’s all about reinforcing the lie..............
I really don’t have a problem with the Republican candidates. I frankly don’t get the animosity.
Were Bush and Forbes really that much better in 2000? Bush has never been able to speak off the cuff, and nor has he been much of a small government-type guy. Forbes was goofy.
Then there’s 1996 and Bob Dole.
Fred Thompson is folksy and can deliver a speech. He’s likealbe. Yes, he has health problems. Yes, he probably is a little too close to Bush in his mannerisms. But he conveyes strong leadership, and that’s pretty unmistakeable. I think his failure to launch a campaign could hurt him and his organizational skills seem lacking, but we shall see. He’s a straight shooter.
I see Romney as articulate and polished as a candidate comes. No one comes close to equalling his resume or his successes on either side of the aisle. He can launch a zinger. He has evolved on some issues and admits as much, but who hasn’t? Personally, I think he’s having a much harder time winning the Republican nomination than he’d have in the White House.
You also have Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo. Neither great at delivering a speech, but rock solid and unwavering conservatives from the get-go. Strong on defense and the border. Hunter voted a little much on the pork. Tancredo has been the exact opposite and a strong fiscal conservative and small government Republican.
Giuliani is charismatic. Fiscally conservative and strong on defense. Weak on social issues and immigration, yes. But light years better than any Dem. Plus, he was governing from NYC.
Well said princess leah.
It's obvious that the gig is up for the beltway lifers via their low support ratings.
Apparently "Republicans" are joining the "Democrat's" in circling the wagons to maintain the status quo.
What seems to missing in this debate concerning Hillary is the simple fact that nobody’s talking about Bush/Clinton fatigue. Does anybody here want another Bush or Clinton as President? I mean come on, Bush- Clinton -Clinton -Bush- Bush ... Clinton? No thanks. I could be wrong but I don’t think even Democrats are that stupid. Time for new names and faces and let the old rivalries and dynasties be relegated to the history books.
Yes, and we have a very fine man of faith as President. Bible studies continue throughout the WH. We’ve not had this type of activity in our WH for many many years. This didn’t even come close to taking place when Reagan was President. Thank Our Lord for President Bush.
She was willing to defend her scumbag husband in times of his humiliating discretions as POTUS for politics so why would anyone think that she wouldn't sell our country for politics if given the opportunity to do so as POTUS.
Thy Kingdom Come, Thy Will Be Done
On Earth as It Is in Heaven
Lead US not in to Temptation.
Deliver US From Evil, Lord.
For Thine is the Power, the Kingdom, and the Glory
Forever and Ever.....
Amen....Amen.
May God continue His Blessing Upon Our Nation.
Thank you, shield, our Prayers will not go unheard.
Bible studies continue throughout the WH. Weve not had this type of activity in our WH for many many years.
America can only Pray and Work Diligently to see
Evil does not reign supreme.
Why would any canadaite want his help??? Look at the advice he gave Bush...wasn’t all that good...
If the Stupid Party thinks beating Hillary will be easy, we should be very afraid.
That is why. - In electing a president, he is batting a perfect score and nobody on the other side can make that claim.
This is why hard work will be necessary, for All of US.
The MSM likes to think that Rove is gone!!!!.....Now Rove is free to rattle Hillary’s cage!!!!.... Can’t wait for Sept 1st&Sept7th!!!!!........Rove will continue to be a nightmare for the Rats!!!!!..........
You mean like this?
Hillary's Cleavage (Washington Post)
Or like this?
Good
Get somebody in there that knows how to run a campaign
Wasn’t for Elian Gonzalez and The Swift Boat Veterans it would have been President Gore and President Kerry
But when you have a Compassionate Conservative candidate I guess you do the best you can
[Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Rodham Clinton]
She’s a Democrat NOT a Democratic.
You’ve got that exactly right. He’s helped enough anyway, what with the “new tone” in Washington, the socialist education bill, entitlement spending for prescrip drugs, the amnesty bill, etc. Please, God, reincarnate Lee Atwater!
