Now if the TEXAS GOP head honchos knew what they were doing they would hold this straw poll at Billy Bob’s Texas - The World’s Largest Honky Tonk.

This is the way to get down to the nitty gritty grass roots of the party. Drink a long neck, ride that bucking bull and cast a vote for someone, maybe whoever bought the last round of Lone Star or Coors.

but it looks like Thompson, Hunter, or Huckabee, depending on what we hear between now and Saturday.

A reasonable list to pick from, imo. Not sure what part of the state you reside in but if you will look at the Hunter campaign info he maybe appearing at a location near you during this upcoming week. I think he’s in Texas most of the week. I know he’s scheduled for Houston on Tue afternoon for a fundraiser.

If’n money wasn’t given to the shrimp industry via the federal gov’t then it would reduce the amount that they have to tax us for...... but you knew that didn’t you?

“I think it will be a free-for-all. But I don’t think Ron Paul will do badly either.”

Ron Paul seems to be the only one trying to win this one. I have friends on his campaign, and they seem to be working their contacts. It wouldn’t shock me to see him actually win.

“VOTE FOR FREEDOM - VOTE RON PAUL”

I want freedom for me, but not freedom for the Gitmo detainees and their terrorists pals around the globe, whom I want dead ... so no, I won’t vote Ron Paul because he wont fight in Iraq and he wont fight the GWOT the way it needs to be fought.

In this imperfect dozen, I am somewhere undecided, mainly between ... Romney - Hunter - Thompson

Ron Paul has always been the only pro-life Congressman that would vote against banning abortion on military bases and on Federal land.

That probably put a strain on his brain for years.

Now, he’s gone space cadet looney toons troother, joined the blame America first crowd. I was never so shocked as when I saw him turn red, start shaking, and wag that finger at us, telling us that 9/11 was our fault.
