Please join us in this FLY THE FLAG campaign and PLEASE forward this [as an] email immediately to everyone in your address book asking them to also forward it. We have a little less than two weeks and counting to get the word out all across this great land and into every community in the United States of America. If you forward this email to least 11 people and each of those people do the same...you get the idea.
THE PROGRAM IS THIS:
On Tuesday, September 11th, 2007, an American flag should be displayed outside every home, apartment, office, and store in the United States. Every individual should make it their duty to display an American flag on this anniversary of our country's worst tragedy. We do this in honor of those who lost their lives on 9/11, their families, friends and loved ones who continue to endure the pain, and those who today are fighting at home and abroad to preserve our cherished freedoms.
In the days, weeks and months following 9/11, our country was bathed in American flags as citizens mourned the incredible losses and stood shoulder-to-shoulder against terrorism. Sadly, those flags have all but disappeared. Our patriotism pulled us through some tough times and it shouldn't take another attack to galvanize us in solidarity. Our American flag is the fabric of our country and together we can prevail over terrorism of all kinds.
Action Plan: So, here's what we need you to do...
(1) Forward this email to everyone you know (at least 11 people). Please don't be the one to break this chain. Take a moment to think back to how you felt on 9/11 and let those sentiments guide you.
(2) Fly an American flag of any size on 9/11.
Honestly, Americans should fly the flag year-round, but if you don't, then at least make it a priority on this day.
Thank you for your participation.
God Bless You and God Bless America

ping for a pingout, please
I do, every day.
Now that’s what I’m talkin’ about! And God Bless the Eagles when they gather on Sept. 15th. Let’s not forget that activity. Would you please add a link to the GOE details as a reply to this thread? Thanks!
Should I take my flag down for the next week or so just in order to look good when I raise it back up on 9-11?

And urge your church to hold a special service that day or at the very least have some hours when it will be open for prayer and meditation.
I know of a church in my community which holds a service every year on September 11, irrespective of the day of the week.
Great post!
No, instead get 11 flags to fly on that day. That won’t just look good, it will look GREAT.
Thanks guys, I figured this was a great way to reach 11,000 instead of just 11, and I appreciate the support.
Excellent idea.
My Pleasure. On March 17th of this year, I drove from Texas to DC. I carried a flag that was flown over Balad Air Base and was also flown in a F16 over Free Iraq. I will carry this same flag on 911 with pride.
I will also carry this same flag on September 15th.
May God Bless our Troops.

Did you know Rick?
If so, it must have been an honor to know him. Like it is an honor to know you Ronnie. I know I thanked you before, but I don’t think we can thank you enough.
Thanks again for your great service to our great Nation.
For as long as I live, it will be remembered and appreciated.
Will fly the flag and gladly wear a pin.
Just hope it doesn’t rain that day. Our Grand Old Flag doesn’t need to get soaking wet.
The Gadsden Flag ain't a bad choice to fly alongside Old Glory on 9/11.
