Citizens for Legitimate Government has learned that Deborah Jeane Palfrey, the 'DC Madam,' has filed with the Court a pro se "Motion for Pretrial Conference to Consider Matters Relating to Classified Information" under the Classified Information Procedures Act. This filing alerts the government that Palfrey's defense will likely involve the disclosure of evidence and identities presently deemed "Classified" by the U.S. government.
In an exclusive interview with CLG, Ms. Palfrey told Lori Price:
"My attorney, Mr. Sibley, and I, have very good reason to believe my case involves matters relating to national security and intelligence gathering operations. One has to remember I was in business in a city, which is home and host to some of the most powerful and connected men - not only in this country, but to foreign officials, dignitaries and businessmen from abroad for almost 13 years, from 1993 to 2006. Particularly, my firm was patronized by a significant number of Middle-Eastern clients over the years; most especially, prior to 9/11. I have contended from the onset and have stated accordingly on numerous occasions, that my situation has absolutely nothing to do with prostitution related issues. In great measure, my very rationale for breaking with Mr. Preston Burton, of late is he views my case as a simple - albeit grossly exaggerated - prostitution matter. There is something very disturbing and I would daresay highly secretive about the existence of my truly bizarre case. And I intend to uncover exactly what this is here."
Montgomery Blair Sibley, Attorney & Counselor at Law for Deborah Jeane Palfrey, issued the following statement to CLG on 31 August 2007:
At the hearing before Judge Kessler on Tuesday, August 28th, the scheduled suppression hearing was adjourned until September 7th at 10:00 AM in Courtroom 26A. Before that suppression hearing, Judge Kessler will conduct a closed interview of Palfrey prior to determining Palfrey's motion to replace her present counsel, Preston Burton, with me, and allow Jeane to at times represent herself in what is known as Hybrid Representation.
Recently Palfrey retained the services of Cataphora, a small Silicon Valley search and data analysis company. The firm is assisting her in preparing her defense. A recent article regarding this collaboration is available from RedHerring.com.
Palfrey's filing is another twist in a story that outed Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) several weeks ago and threatens to complicate the lives and politics of more Washington power brokers.

...guess the Rats names were next to be disclosed.
Is Hillary in her little black book?
Classified clients? Must be Democrats.
Your’re right - no disclosing Dems names. I guess its safe to say Craig is not on the list. ha ha
Valerie Plame again?
betcha he’ll be on Barney Franks list tho..
“Matters of national security”?....’Scuse me while I wipe my eyes and get my ROF butt off the floor.
This is about money, NOT national security. Big shot government officials visit a high priced whore- so what’s new? I just LOVED the claim her lawyer made on Fox about the “people’s right to know” garbage.
All *I* would like to know? How much is that drooling POS Larry Flynt paying this fellow POS and her jerk lawyer?
Looks like a Saudi connection.
The people those names belong to must be the ones who classified them.
Oh pardon me, I thought you were running a call girl ring.
While I understand we might be interested in knowing if people with access to national security information had such poor judgement that they frequented hookers, we don't need to know specifically what they are up to at work.
Polygraphs a far from perfect, but they are a start, and I would think anyone who needs their identity/job connection obscured would get periodic polys. Of course that's everyone but the FBI, they don't need to do polys of their people (/sarc).
I don't have a problem with outing customers of prostitutes, I just think this woman got caught, she's trying to glamorize her case into something it's not so as to minimize her culpability, and the gov and media are allowing it. Imagine that...
Palfrey's filing is another twist in a story that outed Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) several weeks ago and threatens to complicate the lives and politics of more Washington power brokers.Comparing and contrasting the calls for Craig's resignation versus the eerie silence from Republicans and Democrats alike when it comes to Vitter is quite telling, isn't it?
aw, Larry Flint will be so dissapointed
‘DC Madam’ defense likely to disclose evidence, lib/dem identities deemed ‘classified’!!!!!
There was so much hoopla about all this when it was first reported - and then it was said there would be BIG politicos named - and then near silence.
Are there a few dozen Dim Larry Craig’s on the Madam’s list??? Is that why the vaunted great investigative power of the LameStreamMedia has failed to demonstrate that so-called power???
LOL - good one.
Am I just reading this wrong or does this not state that names WILL be disclosed?
“There must be something else here at work...”
My guesses.
1. This is straight sex, not gay sex. Less scandalous in their eyes.
2. This is something that many, both R & D, have done themselves, or at least might have contemplated. If they call for Vitter’s resignation, they fear they may be next.
3. Saving any hoopla for a time when Hillary needs it to take attention away from her bad publicity. Right now, Craig is serving that purpose admirably.
My question was mostly rhetorical.
The answer is because these guys know that Vitter is just the tip of the iceberg.
He’s probably the only Republican on the list.
And it’s really not surprising that he’s there, because visiting brothels is just part of Louisiana culture.
The Democrats however have dozens on the list, and they know it. They’re hoping this lone Republican can give them cover.
By not calling for his resignation, and remaining completely silent, they’re hoping this will set the standard for all of the politicians ensnared in the scandal.
