I'm sure you mean well, but I would not want my child's teacher to explain why President Bush's war on terror is succeeding, nor explain why Liberal Democrats are bad for the country.

I'd like teachers to teach reading, writing, arithmetic, the water cycle, music, art, etc.

Send Sandrat a message stating that you want to be on his ping list. You’ll get a dozen or so high quality news articles every day about our progress in Iraq. You’ll have more than you’ll ever be able to use.

sorry I left some information out. I’m am trying to keep bias out of both bulletin boards. But I want to make sure they aren’t getting their only information from the mainstream media. I teach 7th and 8th grade social studies, so both topics are relevant. I do strongly believe that they need to SEE what is happening in Iraq...see the map...see where things are going well...see where the struggles still exist. As far as the politics/election...I am planning on having all candidates as fair game...dem/rep/libertarian/green/wacko/etc...

Thanks for the suggestions so far! I can’t believe how quickly the responses are coming!

You haven’t said whether you are in public/private education nor if you students have access to computers at the school.

If they have access I’d suggest you let them be the source of much of the info via their abilities to search and hunt for items for postings. That allows them to be involved and they learn much from that approach rather than just seeing items posted on a BB....

just my opinion.

2. Most number of employees managed
3. Largest budget managed
4. Foreign service experience
5. Availability for personal and unscripted interviews
6. Constitutional ethics

optional: Memory problems: the Number of times they “did not recall.”
