It’s no secret that John McCain isn’t very popular in his home state anymore. The people here feel betrayed by his open border policies.

As the ignorant sector of our population become aware of the damage and cost of illegal immigration, alot more pols will be looking for legitimate work elsewhere. Maybe picking lettuce with those they supported.....

Hey Johnny,
Keep preaching that immigration reform. It’s very helpful to Fred!
Maybe the folks in AZ will boot Johnny out of the Senate as well.
This news is very bad news for Johnny. He will have to actually show up in AZ from time to time now. Not visiting as much with his buddy, Goober Graham in South Carolina.

You’re right. We don’t like McCain. He has betrayed us BIG TIME.

Thompson can win his state... Hunter, Romney, McCain and Juliani couldn’t say the same.

Incredible change considering that he garnered almost 77% of the vote in 2004.

As an “outsider” living in Arizona, I think it is so wrong that he duped his voters in such a hugely blatant way. They voted him in with confidence, and he has sold them down the river. And to be honest, his temper tantrums are really freaky. Even if it weren’t for his ridiculous pandering, I wouldn’t have voted for him. He seems hugely unstable.

Seems to echo a poll taken here.
Looks like my County pretty well shows support for Fred too!

Mike Huckabee 7%
John McCain 5%
Newt Gingrich 4%
Ron Paul 4%
Tom Tancredo 4%
Sam Brownback 1%
Chuck Hagel 1%
Duncan Hunter 1%
Tommy Thompson <1%
Tom Coburn <1%
Jim Gilmore <1%
George Pataki <1%

Thanks for that info.
Surprising in those numbers is Newt doing so well and not even running. Also this is another one of those localized polls that shows the lack of exposure by some of the other candidates.
