And not one ping to me!
Only for us “hicks.”
Yet another semi-literate to fill the Rosie O’Donuts seat on the View, what else did you expect?
The NAACP should be on her case over this. She’s insinuating that if you’re black, it’s perfectly natural that you’d abuse animals. Her idiotic statements paint the entire race with that brush.
“It’s the culture..”
Words by which we are to excuse every outrage that occurs along the downward spiral of black American society.
I read that Whoopie was a bag lady when she was 'discovered'.
If this is true - is she still practicing HER cultural upbringing?
She makes it sound like Vick has this disgusting habit bred into his genes.
I can believe it’s part of his culture. I can even believe that Vick didn’t think it was really bad. I can believe that Vick thought it was like gambling in an office pool, illegal, but who cares?
Even if all that is true, it in no way excuses Vick. Even if he thought it was ok, he was severly mistaken. And ignorance of the law is no excuse.
Let him do his time. And if he is so inclined, let him put this behind him.
Maybe Whoopi can get Oprah on her show and explain to her how common it is to have your uncle rape you repeatedly when you are about 9 years old and its just what is done down south. Ya think?
Well that explains it Oprah, nothing out of the ordinary to actually complain about. Then watch the cat fight.
I live in the north (Pittsburgh, PA) — dog fighting is common around here. It’s not a regional thing or a cultural thing — it’s a greed thing; it’s an animal cruelty thing.
It’s similar to John Kerry going after the southern stock car fans, “I sure would like your vote, all you National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing enthusiasts.”
This is all about Whoopi racism as far as I’m concerned...
A few years ago I saw Whoopi on the street. It looked like she was window shopping. I did not approach or speak with her.
According to some, it was the "culture" in the halls of power that led to several lawmakers being indicted for allegedly accepting bribes. It was also the long standing "culture" in the Tennessee Highway Patrol that explained the practice of getting moved up the ladder by giving money to certain lawmakers.Actually, one can use "culture" to defend just about any type of behavior. News reports of "honor killings" in certain countries, where family members slaughter one or all their daughters, is explained at part of the "culture" in those parts of the world. So is the practice of chopping off heads of the infidels by terrorists ... it's part of their "culture."
In fact, "culture" is being used more and more to explain just about every type of human failing or misbehavior.
It will be interesting to see how much more "culture" our culture will put up with in 2006.

Politically Incorrect
May 2 Transcript where Whoopi says, Im not sure that Communism is necessarily a bad thing.
Whoopi: Ill tell you, in part, what it was like, because I lived in East Germany.
Bill: You lived in East Germany?
Whoopi: Yes, I did. Yes, I did. And so when I say to you the things that I say, it comes from a different place. Do I think that Communism as its worked by men works, no. Do I think that democracy often works in certain societies? No.
Were seeing Russia implode cause its not working.
We havent given it enough time.

Along with grabbing your crotch and making obscene gestures and calling it “comedy”.....it’s all a cultural thing./sarc
