Of course... but the ones they do show are so incredibly dense that it doesn’t bode well for the nation as a whole. I am certain they don’t spend a whole lot of time filming those segments, either.

I have taught so many teens. Think about yourself at her age. Imagine yourself confronted by cameras and THE question.

I don’t really care about the question or the answer. I do, however, care about the overreaction to the answer. It has been an over-reaction. Give the kid a break- and she is a kid.

If anyone doubts what you say, they need only go to the discussion boards at The Guardian. It's been that way there for at least 8 years (that I know of). They refer to citizens of the USA as "USA'ians." The loony left thinks it is wrong for us to call ourselves "Americans" -- they think that belongs to everyone from the North and South American continents (and Central America, too). Nevermind that the citizens of those other countries prefer to call themselves something else. I never have figured out why that is important to them to take that label away from us and dilute it. (Theories or explanations, anyone?).

The girl just picked the term up from a leftist educator.

Really, that idea has a lot going for it, but don’t just end women’s suffrage; take away their driver’s licenses, too.

We’d not only have half as many uninformed people pulling levers, but we’d save a ton of money by printing only half as many ballots; need far fewer voting machines; and, counts & recounts would be a lot faster & cheaper.

As to the other, we’d have half as many bad drivers on the roads; less traffic congestion; less pollution; and, dramatically lower gasoline demand & consumption.

How’s THAT for a reason to homeschool?

How about a better reason, home schooled or not home schooled - reasons why you should not train your daughter to be just a sex object?

Reasons why you should teach your daughter that a pretty face and breast implants does not equal success and more importantly, does not guarantee real satisfaction in life.

Reasons why if you only teach your daughter that all that is important in life is beauty and fame and outward appearances, she will be shallow and ultimately disappointed in life.

Reasons why you should teach your daughter that math and science is not just for boys, and that geography, history, English, etc., are important too.

Reasons why you should teach your daughter she can be an engineer, a mathematician, an architect, an accountant or a doctor if she works hard and applies herself and why that is way more important than just being another pretty face.

Reasons why if your daughter has exceptional beauty that can be an advantage but she better have the brains to back it up.

Reasons why she doesn’t have to be an engineer, a mathematician, an architect, an accountant or a doctor and there is no better job than being a wife and mother but she’ll be a much better wife and mother if she has a working brain.

I know a girl who graduated first in her high school class (private catholic) who thought Alaska was an island.

The number one graduate in my high school senior class of '63, sent me an online petition a couple of years back, urging George Bush to lower the price of gas.

She hasn't always been stupid, she caught the liberalism disease and it made her that way.

She's also pissed off that her younger sister is on disability now and medicare won't pay for all of her medical needs.

I agree with you completely. When I was a teenager, I was prone to stage fright. There is no telling what I would have said in her situation.

Thankfully I got over it eventually.

She might be intellingent and just got flustered. It certainly happens.

I have seen at least two people on this forum refer to Mexicans as being South Americans.
